Rumour: Nissan Kicks bookings halted; discontinued?

In November 2022, Nissan sold just 3 units of the Kicks. However, not a single unit was dispatched in the following 3 months.

Nissan dealerships have reportedly stopped taking bookings for the Kicks.

The Nissan Kicks was launched in January 2019. It received a BS6 upgrade a year later. At the time, Nissan also introduced a new 1.3-litre turbo-petrol engine. The crossover was available in four trims: XL, XV, XV Premium and XV Premium (O), and was offered with either manual or CVT transmission options.

Unlike the Magnite, Kicks sales have been fairly muted. In November 2022, Nissan sold just 3 units of the Kicks. However, not a single unit was dispatched in the following 3 months.

While the Kicks is still listed on the website, we haven’t heard anything about the crossover getting upgraded to comply with the new RDE norms.
