Scoop: Production-ready Mahindra S101 spotted

A production-ready version of the upcoming Mahindra S101 has been spotted.

The car is seen with wraparound, smoked effect, tail lamps, a curved rear windshield with a rear wiper and a hatch with an integrated rear spoiler. The bumper has reflectors / rear fog lamps at both ends with chrome accents. The car appears to have three adjustable headrests at the rear. The exhaust pipe of the car peeps out from the rear right side under the bumper. The number plate housing is integrated in the rear bumper of the car.

The S101 is likely to come with 1.2-litre petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engines, which are expected to be mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. An automated manual transmission could be available on the diesel version.

It is rumoured that Mahindra could use the name XUV100 for this car.
