Tata Altroz Turbo petrol specs leaked

Specifications of the upcoming Tata Altroz Turbo petrol have leaked online. It could be sold alongside the naturally-aspirated petrol engine.

According to the leaked document, the car is powered by a 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine that produces 108 BHP @ 5,500 rpm and 140 Nm @ 1,500-5,500 rpm. It is expected to be paired to a 5-speed manual transmission. It could also get a dual-clutch automatic transmission. The new engine is likely to be offered alongside the 1.2-litre naturally aspirated unit that currently powers the Altroz.

Spy images suggest that the Altroz Turbo could come in a new shade of Blue, which was not offered on the Altroz at launch. Just like the regular Altroz, the turbo petrol version has smoked tail lamps and a black rear fascia with the 'Altroz' lettering.

The Altroz Turbo is likely to be launched sometime around this Diwali.
