Tata Nexon gets 5 new AMT variants priced from Rs 10 lakh

Earlier, the AMT option was available only on the more expensive trims (Creative and above).

Tata Motors has silently introduced five new variants of the Nexon equipped with an automated manual transmission (AMT). The new AMT variants are priced between Rs 10 lakh and Rs 12.30 lakh (ex-showroom).

The Tata Nexon Petrol AMT is now available in Smart+, Pure and Pure S trims, while the Nexon Diesel AMT gets Pure and Pure S variants. Earlier, the AMT option was available only on the more expensive trims (Creative and above).

The Nexon is offered with a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine producing 118 BHP and 170 Nm. Customers can choose from four transmission options: 5-speed manual, 6-speed manual, 6-speed AMT and 6-speed dual-clutch automatic with paddle shifters.

The 1.5-litre diesel engine produces 113 BHP and 260 Nm. It is offered with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed AMT.
