Tata Vista Tech details leaked

Motoring website Motorbeam has managed to obtain a brochure and the presentation of the Tata Vista Tech hatchback, which has been spied doing its test runs on numerous occasions.

The available information suggests that the Vista Tech will be offered in three trim levels, LS LX and VX. It will carry over the dashboard and other equipment from the now defunct Vista D90. The list of features includes a 6.5-inch TFT touchscreen with navigation, Bluetooth connectivity, steering mounted audio controls, ABS, EBD, Blue 5 technology, dual airbags, key-less entry, tilt steering, chrome door handles, dual tome interiors, 7-speed intermittent wipers and front and rear fog lamps, depending on the variant. The ZX+ variant of the Vista will be discontinued.

Tata Motors will offer the Vista Tech with a choice of two diesel engines. There will be a 1.4-litre, 4-cylinder, BS3 compliant unit, producing 71 PS and 135.4 Nm of torque, which can be had with the LS or LX trim and a Fiat-sourced, 1.3-litre, 4-cylinder, BS4 compliant, MultiJet motor, good for 75 PS and 190 Nm, which can be coupled with the LS or the VX. A 5-speed, manual gearbox will be standard with both the engines. The 90 PS version of the MultiJet power plant, which was seen in the D90, will be left out of the line-up. There will be no petrol engines on offer either.

The Vista Tech will also feature changes to the steering column, suspension and the clutch. The car will be available in a new shade called Chill Blue.
