Vespa launches new SXL and VXL scooters in India

Vespa has expanded its product portfolio in India with the launch of its 150cc range of scooters.

The new range was unveiled by Vespa’s global brand ambassador and Italian football legend, Alessandro Del Piero.

The Vespa new range sports a single piece monocoque steel body with a new front look and is loaded with features such as digital instrument console, contoured seat, alloy wheels, tubeless tyres and front disc brake.

The Vespa SXL and Vespa VXL are powered by a 150 cc, 3-valve, single cylinder, air-cooled engine that puts out 11.4 BHP @ 7,500 rpm and 11.47 of torque @ 6,000 rpm. The scooters are also available with a 125 cc, 3-valve, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that develops 10.5 BHP @ 7,500 rpm and 10.6 Nm of torque @ 6,000 rpm. Both engines are mated to a continuous variable transmission (CVT).

The Vespa SXL range is available in 5 colours - orange, matt black, white, matt red and azure blue. The Vespa VXL range is available in 6 colours - yellow, white, red, matt black, green and maze grey.
