Mahindra Bolero Neo Plus India launch by September 2023

The Bolero Neo Plus is the replacement for the TUV300 Plus.

According to a media report, Mahindra is likely to launch the Bolero Neo Plus by September 2023.

The Bolero Neo Plus is the replacement for the TUV300 Plus. Reports suggest that the car will be offered in seven variants and positioned below the Scorpio Classic in terms of pricing. It will be targeted at customers in Tier-2 cities.

As per a leaked Type Approval Certificate, the Bolero Neo Plus measures 4,400 mm in length, 1,795 mm in width, 1,812 mm in height and its wheelbase is 2,680 mm.

The Bolero Neo Plus is likely to be powered by a 2.2-litre diesel engine with 118 BHP @ 4,000 rpm. In 'Economy Mode', the engine's output is reduced to 94 BHP. The engine will reportedly be paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox.

Mahindra TUV300 Plus facelift interior spied

The TUV300 Plus facelift is likely to get a dual-tone interior with beige seat covers.

The Mahindra TUV300 Plus facelift has been caught testing once again. This time, the spy images reveal the SUV's interior.

The TUV300 Plus gets minor cosmetic updates for 2021. It gets a redesigned front fascia featuring new headlamps and a typical Mahindra grille with vertical slats. There are no visual changes to the rear of the car. The large wraparound tail lamp clusters have been retained and so is the tailgate-mounted spare wheel.

The test mule has a dual-tone interior with beige and black plastics and beige seat covers that have a diamond pattern. The centre console houses a touchscreen infotainment head-unit, while the front power window switches are positioned between the seats.

The TUV300 Plus facelift is expected to be offered with a 1.5-litre diesel engine paired with a 6-speed manual or 6-speed AMT. Mahindra might also introduce a 1.2-litre petrol unit that could be paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox.

The TUV300 Plus facelift has been spotted on NH45. The car is likely to get minor exterior updates and a BS-VI compliant engine.

The images suggest that the refreshed TUV300 Plus is likely to get wraparound tail lamps and a body coloured rear bumper with reflectors. The test car also has a side-hinged tail gate with a step and a spare wheel that has a body coloured cover. The test mule appears to be fitted with 5-spoke alloy wheels and has squared-off wheel arches.

On the inside, the test car has silver inserts around the centre console and air-conditioner vents.

At present, the TUV300 is powered by a 2.2-litre, 4-cylinder diesel engine that produces 120 BHP @ 4,000 rpm and 280 Nm @ 1,800-2,800 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. The refreshed car is expected to get a BS-VI compliant engine.

The updated TUV300 Plus has been caught testing near Chengalpattu, Chennai. The SUV is likely to get minor exterior updates and a BS-VI compliant engine.

This could be the same test mule that was spotted earlier this month featuring dummy headlights and an updated front fascia. From the side, the car looks identical to the present TUV300 Plus. It has squared-off wheel arches and wraparound tail lights. The test car also has a spare wheel mounted on the tailgate.

The TUV300 Plus was launched May 2018. At present, the SUV is offered with a 2.2-litre, 4-cylinder diesel engine that produces 120 BHP @ 4,000 rpm and 280 Nm @ 1,800-2,800 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. The new model is expected to get a BS-VI compliant engine.

Mahindra TUV300 Plus launched at Rs. 9.60 lakh

Mahindra has launched the TUV300 Plus in India at prices starting from Rs. 9.59 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The SUV is offered in 3 variants - P4, P6 and P8.

The TUV300 Plus is a stretched version of the standard TUV300. It measures 4,400 mm in length, 1,835 mm in width and 1,812 mm in height. It has a wheelbase of 2,680 mm, while its boot space is rated at 696 litres. The P8 variant comes with folding second row seats. With the seats folded, the luggage capacity is increases to 888 litres. The vehicle has a fuel tank capacity of 60 litres. 

The TUV300 Plus has a similar front fascia as its sub-4 meter sibling. The front end features a 5-slat grille flanked by sweptback headlamps. The front bumper has a rectangular air dam with rectangular fog lamps on either side. The vehicle rides on 16-inch, 5-spoke alloy wheels shod with 215/70 section tyres and the rear features a set of new tail lamp clusters and a tailgate-mounted spare wheel.

On the inside, the TUV300 Plus features a dual-tone dashboard finished in beige and black. The centre fascia has a piano black finish and houses a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, which has features like navigation and voice messaging and Bluesense App connectivity. Further, it comes with a 3-spoke multi-functional steering wheel and a twin-dial instrument cluster with a central MID. The seats feature faux-leather upholstery. The power window switches are placed between the front seats, which have separate centre arm rests. The vehicle has 2 side-facing seats in the third row giving it a total seating capacity of 9.

The TUV300 Plus is powered by a 2.2-litre, 4-cylinder diesel engine that produces 120 BHP @ 4,000 rpm and 280 Nm @ 1,800-2,800 rpm and comes paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox. All three variants get Mahindra's Micro Hybrid Technology with brake energy regeneration and ECO Mode. The air-conditioning system also has an ECO mode. 

Safety features like ABS with EBD and driver and passenger side airbags are only offered on the P6 and P8 variants. There and 5 colour options to choose from - Majestic Silver, Bold Black, Dynamo Red, Molten Orange and Glacier White.

Mahindra has revealed the pricing for the TUV300 Plus on its website. The SUV is offered in a single variant and costs Rs. 9,69,695 (ex-showroom, Delhi).

The TUV300 Plus is a stretched version of the TUV300 with an overall length of 4,400 mm. The width and height are rated at 1,835 mm and 1,812 mm respectively. The wheelbase remains the same at 2,680 mm. It comes equipped with a 60-litre fuel tank.

The TUV300 Plus looks similar to the standard version. At the front, it has a 5-slat grille, angular headlamps and a rectangular air dam in the front bumper. The vehicle gets squared-off wheel arches and a tweaked rear end, which comes with new wrap-around tail lights and a tail gate mounted spare wheel. The 3rd-row quarter glass is larger than the TUV300.

On the inside, the 9-seater TUV300 Plus gets dual-tone interiors, a twin-pod instrument cluster and side-facing third row seats. The features list includes power steering, power windows, air-conditioning, internally adjustable ORVM and central locking. Safety features like child locks, seat belt warning, door ajar warning, anti-theft steering lock and side intrusion beams come as standard.

Mahindra TUV300 Plus brochure leaked

There has been no word on the Mahindra TUV300 Plus launch date yet. However, leaked brochure scans suggest that the launch could be just around the corner. 

The TUV300 Plus, which is expected to replace the Xylo, is essentially a stretched version of the TUV300. It measures 4,400 mm in length, 1,835 mm in width and 1,812 mm in height. At 2,680 mm, the wheelbase is identical to the standard sub-4 metre TUV300. The upcoming SUV offers seating for 9 people and comes with a 60-litre fuel tank.

Although not confirmed, the TUV300 Plus is expected to be available in a single P4 variant. In terms of styling, the longer version looks similar to the TUV300. Up front, it has a 5-slat grille flanked by sweptback headlamps and a rectangular air dam on the front bumper. It has squared-off wheel arches and a larger 3rd-row quarter glass, courtesy of the extended rear section. It features new wraparound tail lamps and has a tail gate-mounted spare tyre.

The TUV300 Plus has basic, dual-tone interiors and a twin-pod instrument cluster. At the back, it has side-facing 3rd row seats that can seat four people. Some of the features on offer include power steering with tilt adjustment, power windows, central locking, air-conditioning, internally adjustable ORVMs and 12V charging points.

Mahindra TUV300 Plus SUVs delivered to select customers

Anand Mahindra - the Chairman of the Mahindra Group has confirmed that a few TUV300 Plus SUVs are being delivered to select customers ahead of the vehicle's official launch. 

In a recent tweet, Mr. Mahindra said that the company was seeding a few vehicles in the market before the launch next year. He was responding after images of a customer taking delivery of a TUV300 Plus surfaced online. 

The TUV300 Plus is a longer version of the sub-4 meter TUV300. A recently published ARAI document reveals that the overall length of the Plus is 403 mm longer than that of the regular TUV300. However, both have a similar wheelbase, which measures 2,680 mm. The document also reveals that the Plus is 205 kg heavier than standard TUV300.

While the regular TUV300 comes with a 1.5-litre, 3-cylinder diesel engine, the TUV300 Plus is powered by a 2.2-litre, 4-cylinder mHawk120 diesel engine that produces 118 BHP. It is expected to be offered with a 6-speed manual gearbox. 

The P4 variant comes with black bumpers, door handles and ORVMs. It also gets steel wheels instead of alloys. On the inside, it has side-facing third row of seats and a total seating capacity of 9.

ARAI document reveals Mahindra TUV300 Plus specs

The upcoming Mahindra TUV300 Plus has been spied on numerous occasions. Recently, the base P4 variant was spotted at a dealership and earlier this week, an invoice with the price of the P4 9-seater variant surfaced online. Now, more details about the TUV300 Plus P4 have been leaked through an ARAI document.

The TUV300 Plus is essentially a longer version of the sub-4 meter TUV300. According to ARAI figures, the vehicle measures 4,398 mm in overall length, 1,815 mm in width and 1,837 mm in height. This means, the TUV300 Plus is longer than the standard model by 403 mm, but its overall width is lesser by 20 mm. The Plus is also lower than the regular car by 2 mm. However, both vehicles share the same wheelbase (2,680 mm). Moreover, the TUV300 Plus weighs 2,430 kg (gross weight) which makes it 205 kg heavier. 

Under the bonnet, the TUV300 Plus is powered by a 2.2-litre, 4-cylinder mHawk120 diesel engine that develops 118 BHP @ 4,000 rpm. The document does not mention torque figure of the engine. According to media reports, it is believed to be producing around 280 Nm of torque and is expected to be paired to a 6-speed manual transmission.

The base P4 variant of the TUV300 comes in a 9-seat configuration with side-facing third row seats. While Mahindra is yet to officially announce the price of the vehicle, a leaked invoice has indicated that prices are likely to start at Rs. 9.46 lakh (ex-showroom).

The TUV300 Plus has been spied on multiple occasions in the recent past. Leaked images have indicated that the front-end styling will be identical to the sub-4 meter TUV300. Beyond the C-pillar, the overall design has been slightly tweaked. It gets larger wraparound tail lamps and a tailgate-mounted spare wheel. Lower variants are likely to be offered with steel wheels and black ORVMs and bumpers.

The TUV300 Plus shares its interiors with the sub-4 meter version. Moreover, it will be offered with different seating configurations. The base variant is likely to be offered with side-facing third row seats.

Under the bonnet, the TUV300 Plus is believed to be powered by a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder, turbocharged diesel engine that makes around 120 BHP. It will be paired with a 6-speed manual transmission.
