New Update

Hi Guys,

Well Its been a while since I managed to visit the garage in Jaipur but yesterday my cousin visited the same and sent a few pics of the work done on the beast. The arches are more or less complete, just a few final touches are being made and a bit of denting here and there is also being done. The windshield is being shortened and work on it should be complete by tomorrow evening. By day after tomorrow the jeep would be handed over to the painters. The painter would take a bit of time as I have seen them at work, they do a great job but do not rush things.

Here are a few pics of the beast that my cousin sent.

Cheers !!!!!!!!!!

Randeep

I could notice there is lot of gap between front left fender & grill.guess there is more work to do.
when are you expecting the vehicle to roll-out & what color have you decided?

Hi Ram,

The grill has not been fitted properly hence the gap. If you are referring to the gap between the engine and the grill then that is because the chassis has been extended in the front.

The jeep should hopefully be ready by first week of July. The colour has not been finalized but most probably it shall be a shade of maroon.

Cheers !!!!!!!

Hi Ram, in MM5x0 there are holes on the each fender and the grill to put bolts. Left side bolt are not there, so there is the gap. Simple!!

Dood going Randeep

though a bit slow but all good things take time, i am sure.

The Wheel Arches and the Tyre/Alloys has transformed the look and its looks more stable and good highway cruiser due to extension horizontally.

Looking forward to a capable and good looking jeep.

cheers

Randeep - Looks like the monssons are waiting for your beast to be ready before they make let us start the OTRs again!

Amazing looking vehicle buddy! With that Isuzu engine I think you will have one of the best custom jeeps in NIOC!

Cheers

Hi Randeep,

Jeep looks awesome and becoming a monster with every upgradation!

Though you made the chassis and bonet extension to justify with Rubicon, why don't you do this modification which I marked in the picture. Your jeep will look more muscular stunny if you align this area with the body line like a Wrangler one.

Just my opinion only

Sali

Hi Joshguy/SirAlec,

I totally agree with you, the work is really slow. I cant push too much as now the Jeep goes for paint and dont want them to ruin the just so that they hurry it. I have been assured that the Jeep should be ready by first week of Aug.

SirAlec, I have selected a shade of Maroon. But options are still open as my uncle is going to show me some more shades when we visit Jaipur.

Cheers !!!!!!!!

Hey Randeep,
I really appreciate your patience. It's such a long time you have been waiting for your off roader. I'm sure it would be a stunner. Eagerly waiting to see the finished monstor.

By the way, will the footware remain the same while it goes to paintbooth?
