Yes Prmd the tyres are awesome man. The Tucson has 235/70 Geolander AT-S and they sure look really really small.

The Big Horns are from Rs.8600 per tyre where as the Buckshots are for Rs.13500 per tyre.

Cheers !!!!!!!

Hi Bigman
Yes I am getting a power steering installed, I picked the power steering housing from Mayapuri itself. I'm not sure of the make but its reliable as I had installed one in a Gypsy also. These are second had power steering's.

Hi randeep,

This tyre looks amazing yaar!!! BTW what will be the tyre life ? On road as well as off road? looking at the aggressive tread pattern will it be noisy on road? and what about wear and tear of the tyre?

This is tubeless and Is it easily available in India?

These are lot of questions

Thanks Tarkesh,

Well seeing the knobs on the tyre I feel there are going to be a bit noisy that even the other AT tyres available are.

The best part is that these tyres are suited for tarmac and also for extreme offroading(Mud/Slush/Snow) Yes these are tubeless tyres. There Importer for these tyres is based out of Delhi and his latest container is expected begening March.

As for the life I'll just have to wait and see.

According to a friend of mine who has two jeeps, one uses the 33x13.5 R16 Mudzilla's and the other uses the Big horn. He said the Mudzilla's are realy bad on tarmac and lack road grip while the life is 40% less as compared to the big horns. The Big horns make noise on the road but are amazing on mud and slush as he uses them in Hoshiarpur jungles and river beds.
My friend is a slush freak and he was the one who suggested this tyre to me. Cheers !!!

@Randeep,
just checked the history of your jeep.
It belonged to an infantry unit located near Amritsar. This jeep has never been used to carry weapons, however, has been used extensively to carry men(rarely 8 of them).
Driven on tarmac most of its' time and rarely driven off road on dirt tacks or fields.
No reports of any major accident.
Has completed its life sucessfully in the army before being released.

The army 550 received the 5 + reverse gearbox jeeps in 2007.
These will do some service before being retired.
The gear shift levers are closer to the driver as compared to the earlier models and also the 4x4 lever tranverses in a straight line, unlike its predecessors.

Hi Everyone,

Well the BIGHORN's arrived earlier last week and now the rims have arrived. I have picked up 5 HRS rims (16"/8") for the Bighorns and after putting them they look fabulous. Juat cant wait to see the Jeep wearing these.

Hey Randeep buddy,
They look fabulous. I do not know if it is because of your rims or the tyres or the combination, but they look awesome.
Just waiting to see your 540 with these new shoes.
Keep us posted.
Cheers,
Deepak
