The weight addition hasnt been much. He had this much gear for a very long time now.

Unless you are referring to the times when he ferries around Shrivz.

I don't know what it's for and all. But if it's Pete's box, you ought to give it back to him. He must be looking for it. Get one of your own and you can call it Amee's box.

That should read as "Peerless Fabrikkerne India" lest someone mistake it for Tympany.

Oh my gosh....I think I have seen that PCB before. But I suspect it is not 1000W at 4 ohms (atleast not rms). Looks more like 500W @2 / 1000W @1 version of the Hydrogen mono.

Puurfect! This is exactly what we expect on the ICE section! :-)

Just for that exchange I now rechristen Amey, Ramie and B&T to Larry, Moe and Curly (in that order). LOL.

Ajay, you make ICE so easy to understand.

Poor Pete. He must be starving without his lunch box. Please leave Pete boy alone.

As far as i know, that mono is rated at 1000W @ 2ohms. At least thats what i have been told.Ajay is in a better position to answer this one.

Congrats Amey for the install. Would really like to audition it before you upgrade something.

Is the mono by any chance be the proto of GZTA 1.2000MKČ. The reason I ask is becuase it matches the description as Amey mentioned. 1 x 650 WRMS @4 Ohm, 1 x 1200 WRMS @2 Ohm and 1 x 1900 WRMS @1 Ohm

From the pics on can see 85 Degree rated caps by LUXON, Copper bus bar, Solid state small caps, SMD devices, Big capacitor bank on the PS stage, heavy duty power terminals show the amp is quite well built.

got a chance to listen to amey's setup last evening.
I must say i was truly stumped by the precise detailing.
the 8in luccent mis bass was sweet and blended nicely with the sub.
Ajay has done a truely amazing job as tuning (like he did for me) as well.

The setup is the best i have ever heard. once again congrats buddy.

Earlier on TE and even now to an extent on THL, it was computers and Darky aka Amey was known as TE's poorest man.
He would have multiple rigs and would be on the latest config even before we had just kind of got accustomed to planning a rig for ourselves on the lines of his "older" stuff.
Now he has lodged himself here and you can very well understand the 'poor' moniker.
My best wishes and congrats are taken for granted by him.

Sorry for the n00b query but did someone on Tbhp make that amp- looks amazingly neat.

Ha ha, didn't know that bit about Amey's "Dark" side. But thanks for the clarification. He must be a poor man indeed.
