Mumbai Meet 15th January 2012 - Drive Igatpuri 7AM - Lunch Oye Punjabi - 12Noon

Hello everyone,

I saw that the October 2011 meet didnt happen and was supposed to be replanned in January 2012. hence I am starting this. This is going to be my first meet, so I am calling out to people who have had such experience. Please suggest:-

Venue
Date/Time
Your Availibility
Any ideas on agenda for the meeting to make it more intresting.

To give me a headstart, HVK Sir, Firebird and nix1976in have more or less have shown a keen intrest in making this meet happen

Don't think even HVK is around this weekend. I'm in for it next weekend. Not keeping well so this weekend not possible for me.

How about Jan 26th? I know I know its mid week but plus point is empty streets. Zipping around would be easy.

Venue could be Karnala, relatively easy accessibility for all (Mumbai+Thane+Pune)

Boss, which ever date but make it for Sunday as all of us will vote for this day. 26th Jan I wont be not there as I will be going for Republic day Royal Enfield Bullet Ride.
Karnala is a good idea we all can do some BIRD WATCHING TOO....
About HVK 's absence we must wait till he is there with us. plssssssss.

First, let me wish you all a more meet-y New Year 2012.
Next, count me in.
Any day is fine with me, but Sunday is preferable to all.
Venue: close to a good food joint, with ample parking (and no parking fee!).
Unfortunately, I am not so informed about food joints and would depend upon the experts in this matter. It is nice to learn that known faces like HVK-Sir, Veerji, MX6, and others will be joining; while we get to meet new faces as well.

Yes, I am also not available this weekend, but Jan 14 suits me. Maybe we can also get people like MileCruncher who is here that day to run the Mumbai Marathon.

Everyone prefers Sunday, so looks like we are back to 15th Jan. My opinion also is that 26th Jan may be a day where lot of people may be planning things with family. Now please let's have more suggestions on the venue.

Hi, I'm relatively new but I'd like to join too.
I'm okay with 14-15 weekend but not 26th...

And by the way Karnala seems a superb idea..

If it is Karnala, I'll be bringing my family along. Also it's been a while since I did some serious photography (the last one was during my Raj/ Guj phototrip).

Also will be good to catch up with MileCruncher if he's free. He is actually my college junior!

Also let's keep out Jan 26th as it seems to fall on a thursday. People might take the friday off to head out somewhere for a loooong weekend.

Let's start the attendees list.
