Great to see that the car in its leather attire. Did it cost 30k?. I am planning to do stanley seats for my linea in chennai.

By the By what is the sticker you have put of just below the linea emblem? the other one below emotion is of Karlsson which i can see but this one i cannot make out

And how reliable is this e-bay things? Are they real fiat oem wheels caps. Have you put it in your car. If yes then kindly put up a pic of the wheel too. I was planning for the kick plates too.
Seeing your thread i think i have to make up a lot of finances for my car

Geeash!! Thanks for the Compliment...It cost me 23k + 12.5% VAT + 3000 Travel and Transport Charges for the installer to come to my doorstep to do the fitting.

Stanley had done the seating for my SX4 and the quality of fit and finish wasnt anywhere close to Karlsson

The Sticker below the Linea Emblem is of K&N Air Filters which i have installed on my Linea

I have been Purchasing from Ebay since 1999 and its quite reliable. you have purcahse protection even on international ebay sites for payments made thru paypal, wherein if you dont recieve the product within 45 days, you can file a claim and the entire amount gets refunded to you.

They a re genuine Fiat OEM Valve caps purchased from A website called Partsworld-uk.com

yes Kickplates are an essential specially when you have people who trip on the door sills and scratch the paint off. waiting for them to be delivered from germany!

I keep scanning all ebay sites for new accessories for the lady in white!

yes it is a diesel e-pack.
WoW, I wish everyone gets a friend like yours

Does your 9.76L includes the various accessories bought by you including the upgrades (tyres, airfilter), leather seats, e-bay items etc. How much it adds to finally ?

I was facinated by your leather seats, i had made decision to buy seatcovers only after one year, now i am reviewing my decision. I will visit Karlsons shortly to understand the costs etc.

Another question, i wanted to ask you is how often you use your vaccume cleaner, water jet etc. I had bought a portable vaccume cleaner for my FIAT palio which i hardly used 2-3 times initially. then it was very cumbersome to charge it frequently.

Friends in Need are Friends Indeed!! the 9.76 is just the Onroad Cost of the Lady. After all upgrades i guess it would be worth about 10.50!

Yes karlsson leather surely makes heads turn. i have had several people ogling at my seats when they had their Lineas for service at Automatrix

i vaccum and Wash my car once a week on Sundays. the job starts with diesel cleaning of exteriors to remove the tar spots, then wash with wuerth or sonax shampoo, then drying, then vaccum, then interior plastic polish and finally leather care. takes about 4 hours for the job and at the same time keeps me Slim and trim!

Hey sunil welcome! Really like what you have done with the interiors and the exterior. The valve caps and the kick boards look nice. Will now have to hunt on e-bay for them. Waiting for the pics after you have installed the kick boards.Hey maybe you can use your ebay hunting resources for neat looking spoilers as well....

Thank you pranava! i am very particular about how my car should look and feel and i always want it to stand out in a crowd without making an entry in the thread for weird and whacky mod jobs!

Also keep scanning the online parts dealers in UK and Italy who provide international shipping for these parts and accessories. Spoilers are a no no for me.. for i always feel that spoilers SPOIL the looks of the car.

I am a stickler to rules and OE Stuff. I do not think that the ICE on the Linea is bad. Adjust the EQ settings to a flattend V Shape and u will have a good sound in your car. also as per my conversation with Aashish@ fiat any modifcation to the electrical System Voids Warranty, unless and until u source a Blaupunkt ISO adaptor which gives a line level output provision to fix an additional active Subwoofer such as THX 215 of blaupunkt without skinning any OE wire. hope i got the model number right.

Thanks ET. you are absolutely right about giving the run!
the engine at 1900 Kms is very smooth and seems more like a Petrol when on idle and even when driving. this is achieved by adding 10 Ml of Iftex System D with every 10 litres of Diesel. the Oil change at 1850 Kms also has helped in achieving this.

had a small issue with the neck of the window washer fluid container. the joint where the neck joins the container had developed a small leak as the rubber beading had come out. Automatrix Juss Replaced the Rubber washer and things are fine again!

Sunil congratulations on owning superb italian beauty and you dressed her to kill, awesome.New multijet engines does not need System D to be added along with diesels and also oil change intervals if you are saying for engine oils is for 15k duration as per fiat manuals so why at1850, eleborate please?

System D is an injector Cleaning Additive. Even though the refineries may supply good quality Diesel, when the diesel reaches the pump and from the pump to your fuel tank several adulterations could take place. further during monsoons some amount of humidity / water can reach the underground storage tanks and ultimately reach ur fuel tank. System D is like a Mouthwash! even though Tooth paste can clean the teeth and rid the mouth of odours, a specialised mouthwash can help a wee bit more!!

Yes Fiat recommended Interval for oil change is 15K Kms. however i belong to the old school of thought. even though the engine may have been bench run before being plonked into the car, there could still be a few metal particles that get shaved off and get deposited in the oil sump. an oil change is not a Must have, but a good to have at this point of time.

well sunil i do know what System D is and what it works, but reading through other multijet, quadrajet and DDiS reports i understood that new technology doesnt need to add this so asked you, thanks.
