Awesome Pics in the snow

Thats a real neat jeep and a real neat location too.
You have quite a nerve driving an open jeep in the Snow.
God help; I remember getting stuck on the roads on my drive from Shimla to Lahaul-SPiti in a Swift.
Open jeep and i would have ended up a popsicle.

Lower Forty

Lower Forty on the Jeep, Wolffe spotted in Velachery is just graphics!

But in real terms, it is a set of design modifications done to the Jeep.
These include
1) Suspension modifications to accept 40-inch tires, which has the effect of raising CG and therefore increasing stability.
2) Overall reduction in body height and special suspension to lower CG and increase stability. The stability may not be as good as stock, but will be loads better than a grotesquely tall Big-foot Jeep.

Here's a quick diagram I made with an 540 to illustrate the point.

Comments welcome.

Raghu, Your JEEP looks awesome; the green accenting seems to help a lot in the looks department! I'm not a big fan of the slightly bling alloys though.

Drool maal Raghu! Seriously very tastefully done!
I am also one of those who had driven this when it was being tested by Jammy.
Very very nice Jeep. Cheers to you and Jammy!

Hi Abhi

Its got a Bolero XD3P engine (75BHP), with a 4+1 gearbox, and 31x10.5 Michelin LTX tyres.I picked it up as it is last year and recently did a paint job and some cosmetic stuff.

You can see more details on http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/4x4-ve...ue-my-swb.html
