I'll ask next time I'm at Atlas. Difficult though. Will also ask at the Kurla market - that's the scrap car market

re: An impulsive buy - 1999 Mahindra Classic; Sold and bought back after 10 years!

Got some time to replace the air filter element.

The condition it was in, I don't think it was changed in a decade!

I had replaced the old one with the that time "new" armada box.

The element inside was in bad shape:

Inside of the airbox wasn't very bad and I cleaned out the soot using fine sand paper and then a cloth to remove the loose particles.

The paper element:

I have kept the outer mesh of the old one because it was in good shape and I can use for any future DIY:

re: An impulsive buy - 1999 Mahindra Classic; Sold and bought back after 10 years!

Took my 5 year old and his friends for a jeep drive last eve on Children's day! Good weather too in the evening for an open air drive.

They loved it!

Those pics made my day, Tejas! Just saw all the updates yesterday. Guess she was made for you .

1. With those tyres, do you have power steering? Which hardware & how?

2. Full maintenance exclusively at Allan's?

1. Yes power steering was installed way back in 2010 using a bolero unit.

2. Yes, exclusively at Allan's other than minor service.

Congrats Tejas. This is a memorable vehicle so please always keep it red. I had to send these pictures of a Great escape 2010 for your memories.
