A couple of videos and the links below are not in any particular order. I have a couple more taken at the stockyard but I guess a bulk of videos will be shot when I take delivery. These should do for now. They are HD so may play choppy on some PCs - you can select a lower resolution on youtube if this is a problem, otherwise go for max res.

gsferrari, did you find anything different with the air intake in your gypsy. With Hard top the gypsy looks so cramped in the back seats, if you plan to retain the hard top change the seats to front facing one's.

It looks killer!

And yes - since you're going to be doing Leh Ladakh, Yoko's/Michelins would actually make more sense.. You're coming for the OT tomorrow - so you can check out one of the other gypsies with yoko's, and decide for yourself, i suppose..

I honestly have no idea because every Gypsy I have looked at is different under the bonnet.

Yes it is a bit cramped in the back because of the way the HT leans in from the waist up. I would love to have the flat hard-top that comes with the Suzuki Samurai because the enormous forehead of the hard-top on my Gypsy looks downright awful in my eyes. I will try to break the ugly lines with 4 Hella lamps up top and a canvas sheath like I mentioned with the camouflage pattern.

Yes indeed. what is the plan for tomorrow? I'll call you in a bit. Planning a bike ride as well so if I can finish that up and meet you guys at the destination, will be fantastic.

Taking delivery on Tuesday (Gudi Padva). Clearly the "g**nd masti" I tried at the RTO didn't work out

Hey GS,

Congrats man. Cool Gypsy you got there. Can you post a few pics of the Headlight adjust switch after you take delivery of the vehicle?

Regards,

Not sure yet. Where is the OTR and what time do I have to be there (and where is "there")

I have a quick ride on the MT01 to Kasara ghats in the early am (6:00am - 10:00am). I am wondering if I can do both the ride AND the OTR. I will be a passenger tomorrow to see if I have the balls for an OTR. I am sure my Gypsy can go much longer at the point where my courage runs out.

Should be fun and I'll bring my Flip camera along to document the mess

Hey Desmo,

Hope you enjoyed during your first OTR.

Remember, this is a slow learning curve, have patience and don't get disheartened.

And, get your clutch checked.

Tejas - I had a blast! Thanks for putting this together.

Picking up my Gypseeee tomorrow so I will keep a close eye on the OTR thread. I am keen to be a part of the next OTR from behind the wheel.

Are any of you getting skid-plates fitted? How about a group-buy / group-fit for those interested?

Also - I need one of those towing-cables man. Can you PM me the details?

Thanks!
GS
