I have got my VIN number from the SA for TATA Manza as follows and he told manfacturing date as 1-Jan-2012

MAT613040CLA00266

from this I can decode it to be manfactured on Jan-2012,but how to find the production date of the same?

Also when I checked with him why it takes so long to ship the vehicle when production date is 1-Jan-2012 he told me that manfacturing date is for frame only and all the remaining parts has to be assembled and it may take 2-4 weeks for the same.is it true ?
