I wrote a message to seller not to ship both of mine in one shipment as it could attract customs scrutiny due to size of package... I snagged 2 via browser as i could not find it on the app and so paid $6 for each...

I must be crazy. Just saw it's $5.60 on the mobile app and ordered it without a second thought. I've already ordered that other one for about Rs. 2400 approx, so maybe I'll pass this one on to someone in the family or in my office.

Facing a peculiar issue.
The website says the payment is pending for verification & it'll be done within 6 hrs.

The confirmation mail says the payment is successful, & it'll be done in 24 hrs. :/

My credit card has only been charged in same amount but as Rupees! (as in Rs.5.60/piece)

Did this happen to any other 1st time users ?

I think theres this QR code on the website which you can scan with the App & buy on phone.

Same here.

I guess international websites will not ask beyond the CVV code, it'll not follow the 2 step verification protection that RBI has mandated for Indian businesses. (Also the reason many people memorise & scratch off the CVV number from the back of the credit card.)

Happens everytime. It will usually get sorted out by tomorrow morning.

Guys, is this how it usually works in Aliexpress??
It's my first order from Aliexpress hence the confusion

EDIT: Just read the above two posts. So I guess this is common issue.

My order was shipped a couple of days back. Now waiting for the product. Hopefully it should be well that ends well.

My second order of two dashcams have not been shipped till date whereas the first order of a single camera has been shipped through China post Packet plus. I made the first order on 17/1/15 and the second on 19/1. Has anyone who ordered after 17th received shipping confirmation? Especially the people with multiple number of cameras.

Both my orders were shipped on the same day despite being a day apart. Wait for a few more days.
