I would say go for good hu like 7950 it has usb support. without b/w (max junta buys it grey) , for the front you can go for JBL 607 or the Illusion audio electra series for about 5-6k. for the amp you can go for 75.4. and for the sub pioneer or Jbl which you like for 3.5k. install can be done within 1.5k

hu -> 9k
Speaker-> 5K
Amp -> 8.5k
Sub ->3.5k
Install-> 1.5k

it comes to 27.5k. a little bit beyond your budget but the result will be quite good. also drop the rear speakers idea if you require them connect them through the HU.

I have not seen this bittu shop but the name sounds funny. there are plenty of good installers around mumbai. many otherwise good installers will cut croners if they think the customer will not notice.

so just ensure that your installer knows that you know waht goes intoa good install.

One thumbrule is that if the install is nea and all the wires are neatly arranged it is usually a sign that the install itself will be well done as well.

I'm here. There isn't much I can say here. The 75.4 MSRP is 12,990/- including VAT and all the other niggly-wiggly that the government charges. Like all products that are sold in competitive markets, the MOP is lower than the MSRP. So it is common to get a discount on these products. Of course this depends on the market and the dealer policies. Generally dealers that hold their prices, offer the best services.

At about 9K, I daresay the dealer's making the usual grey market operating margin of 100 to 200 rupees. (yes that's all) Such a dealer would obviously offer a discount on a product with B&W too if asked.
I suppose it's up to the consumer, finally. It's the consumer's money. Warranties are serial number specific and amplifiers do fail sometimes.

JBL 6x9 speakers

Hi Guys,

Ok finally am going to chuck the oval pioneers out of my car, Just before I go in for GTO937, I just came across JBL P953 on the website. Please could someone tell me if the P953s are superior to GTO937. These speakers will be driven by my JBL 75.4 AMP, finally got my hands on one .

Thanks,
Anshu

do you pass chembur frequently ... it cant be missed if you do

my last install on the honda city was for an autocop and previously for my dual din pioneer, both were neatly done and i was pretty impressed as to how quickly he put 3 guys on it, one would open the things up second would wire them right and third would close everything in place, i must say i was pretty impressed!!

Hi anshu,

Yes, all speakers from the power series are superior to GTO. However the P953 is no longer sold in India, simply because the erstwhile "decade" now T595 is sold at a current reduced price of 10K.
