But then, I am sure the end result is worth every penny.
However, I noticed that this is the second time part of your equipment is going bust; the first was your 'prototype' mono amp and now your mid range. Any particular reason for this? Are the equipment not reliable or is it too much of power being supplied to particular equipment (which is not likely since B&T has done the setup)? |
Well anything going bust because of bad installation or improper tuning is not possible in case of B&T. I can assure you that much.
The first time the Prototype Mono went bust was thanks to some dry solder and the VRM going bust. Its rectified and kicking hard in my Getz
As for the Mid Range, basically its a driver meant for Home Audio speakers and not car audio ,atleast thats what I am told. Extreme conditions like us can be pretty hard on delicate equipment. I guess heat caused the adhesive to dry off and the vibrations it was subjected to because of powerful door closing ( Thanks to my idiots at office,my staff) may have caused the damage. Thats what I personally feel.
B&T is in a better position to answer why it went bust. |
