I think i should be looking somewhere around 800w!!!
No it will still stress the sub when sometimes the user goes overboard, or in some cds the low end info is more boosted.

I drive a Santro.

I got installed Blaupunkt MP66 + Amplified Sub Pioneer TS-WX206A + Pioneer Satellite speakers TS-STX99 roof mounted + Tweeters TS20 + Blaupunkt Center Speaker behind IRVM.

My satellites and TS20 are powered from the HU itself. And sub is placed in the boot.

How do you people rate this set up? My primary concern is SQ and not SPL. Please comment.

The stuff you have installed is ok ok. But there are lots of good other brands. The TS-20 is a good tweeter but you can remove it as it make a lots of treble. The satellite speakers are only for show nothing else.

And what rest speaker do you use except these.

Thats all the setup nothing else. My wife just fried me for these. Comment on my choice of HU(Blaupunkt MP66), bought it for over 26K with a steering remote. Sole choice was for USB HDD compatibility and SD/MMC support.

Must have been something other than Appy Fizz this time!!! Did you to make a slide presentation earlier in the day, LBM? Full bullet points and all, and a "Good night" to end it all. No clue what you are talking about, as is expected in any slide presentation.

Uh-oh. Someone has hijacked LBM's account. Nice touch starting the post with "Hmm" but that will not fool me.

I am digging up old thread,
I am planning to do experiment with setup,to improve it.
Have Energy ESK 165(100w Rms) upfront with JBL75.4 giving out 100w each side.
I have two options:-
1) bridge the two channels of amp and give each side 284w in passive setup.
2) Run active, giving tweeter and mid 100w each,HU is 9887.It can do fronts+sub active.
How should i go about it.Main reason for doing the experiment is improve upon the system

Navin,
I am also inclined for going active but i am not to able to find the info about the Freq range the tweet and mid can handle,On hertz site they have mentioned that full comp set range is 60hz to 23k but i doubt the midbass can go that low,mid bass would be happy around 80hz range
I was looking for Energy Crossover points in defualt crossover it comes with, but couldn't find any info.
Only concern are the drivers strong enough to handle the active system
