Whats this Bull Audio? Lol. No way thats higher than anything, the 6.5" comps are listed for some Rs. 3500 (equivalent) on most sites. Quite garish looking too.

Bull Audio...

BullAudio

The component is rated 50 watts only MAX 100 watts. Maybe they are underrated !!!

I don't find them to put out sound quality. Looks like another speaker company.

Guys,

Bull audio is a sister company of Rainbow. Bull Audio products are designed and engineered by Rainbow engineers who are responsible for creating World Renowned Rainbow speaker lines like Profi, Vanadium, Platinum & Reference. Infact the final QC (Quality Control) is done in Germany by RAC's QC department.

To keep the cost low and to target budget segment they have manufactured Bull Audio lineup in China. The products definitely meet / exceed quality standards of the competition both in build and sound.

They are getting very good reviews in German press. Infact the webpage picture posted by LBM shows Bull Audio 6.5" component scoring good points in the review by Car & Sound.

Don't judge the product by the way it looks. I have seen stunning looking car audio products performing / sounding like crap. So I am a strong follower of the line "Hearing is Believing"

Agreed only what I am wary of (based on the pics) is the stamped frame and the spade lug connectors of the woofer and their claim that they use a Poly Prop (PP) cone for tight crisp bass.

Bull + Red = RedBull !!! [just kiddin]

This looks nice;
At least, I like it.

I have never heard of the company nor have I auditioned it.
Luckly it seems to be 'entry level' so some one will buy & install.
I want oto listen to it. I shall pass some comment on it only after I hear it.

Is it sold by PTC in India ? Price point ?

Details would be appreciated.

Navin,

Most of the products in this price range are using PP Cones, Spade Lugs and Stamped basket. That does not determine the final outcome or reproduction of the sound.

FYI Legendary SQ subwoofers IDQv2 by Image Dynamics (now discontinued and evolved into IDQv3) used to have stamped basket and Spade Lugs.

Irrespective of these features, they were one of the most desired SQ subwoofers in the Car Audio Industry which they ruled for more than a decade.

Germans will not compromise !

Sure we all know that STam Steel is cheaper to make;
But then if this ithe the 'watered down' version of Rainbow Audio - cost will have to be cut some where.
The silver lining is that it is a German Product & that all production even though happens in China is routed through Germany. This is for strict QC. Very Very Important & Very Good at the same time.
I am sure Rainbow Audio does not want its reputation tarnished........
I do hope it is sold soon in Mumbai !!! What will be its price point here ?
LBM please do a bit of research and find out its MSRP in Europe / Middle East !! Please......
Much appreciate it.
If we 'double' or 'tripple' the street price in DBX, we should have a 'rough' idea of the price [indicative] in India....
Thanks Guys !!

I was under the impression that Rainbow was done by PTC in India. I had seen the SEAS Excel based speaker syatem at PTC's place some time back. Has PTC lost the D & D ?

Thanks LBM for the links.
Must dig more for reviews prior to purchase.

Your Screenshots of the Bull site were appearing on Page2 last night I saw.
Some posts disappearing and re-appearing again?
