Last when I had checked with Eric Stevens I remember he mentioning about IDQ15v3 in making and the expected launch mentioned was around Aug end/Sept. I also learnt that going two ID10v3 against 2 IDQ10/12v2 would dig lower, louder and tighter. IDv3 series is improved version of IDQV2 series. It does what IdQv2 would do with going slightly louder. You can even look at Id15v3.

Isobaric enclosure irrespective of whichever order you choose will definitely go lower but won't be as loud as going sealed enclosure unless you decide to add a port to the Isobaric enclosure.

Check with Eric, let's see what he has to say about his product. I say get 2x10" mount them on either side of sidewall in fiberglass enclosure.

Wow, This sounds intresting. Can someone confirm this please.

The IDQ12V2 is doing great, it's tight, goes low and loud. But after a certain volume level it is not able to keep up with the rest of the equipment this may be due to the fact that it is in a sedan and that is the reason i was looking to add one more subwoofer. If what you are saying is true then 2 X ID10V2 would be a perfect option for the sedan.

Edit: Also how would the IDQ12V3 compare against 2 X ID10V2?

Bro Frank has a budget of 20k and the Max is for 35k+...I think it will double his budget.

Umm , SI BM? I guess it'll be an amazing sub.
Or rather use 2 of them.

They require 200-500 watts and when i enquired about it from Nick, he said 300-350 would give an amazing response.

they have just a 3.5mm mounting depth. and require only a 0.5ft^3 enclosure. So you can save a lot of boot space.

Or the best would be the Stereo Integrity MAG V4 if you can source it somehow.
An awesome sub and goes freakingly low.

I'm sure you'll love it.

But again your amp.
The Mag is d2 and the BM is D4.
So 2 BM would mean a 1 / 4 ohm load.

Get your amp changed frank. :P

The 10inch is 41400.
The 12 inch should be around 44k.

Even electrostatic speakers were thicker than that, Abhinav! Something black in the lentils.

Big output, tiny mounting depth, tiny enclosures; that's what the BM series is all about. Using the same technology we use in our Mag series, we put the motor of the BM's inside the basket to shrink the mounting depth to a miniscule 3.5 inches on a 12" subwoofer!

Stereo Integrity

I was shocked too but thats what it says.
And what Nick had said about the mag, it all was true. The accuracy of each of his information. So i would not doubt on this too.

Abhinav SI BM is completely different than the Magv4. There is already a review up on the BM prototype which is based on BM mkII final version MKIII will be slightly different. Sure it goes low but it cannot be crossed high like 100hz, 125hz as MAGv4. There are many subs that digs lower just like MAG most of them mentioned on Pg.3 here. Apart from the specs and characteristic of the sub, most of the 10", 12" could be made to dig lower with the help of EQ. Changing the amp and getting two subs will be an expensive affair. There are many subs that can go low at 16hz, 20hz. No doubt mag is clean, but there are others like the Shiva-x, Jbl gti, dayton, FiQ, HSU, AVI, CSS, all of their subs are proven to play down to 20hz being linear. The only issue is these are not available here for audition and so its more like a gamble. Apart from the musical part it also matters on the budget and how space one is willing to give up.
BM no doubt will be good choice but I suppose it doesnt matches the amp.

Frank take your pick all the subs mentioned here are great SQ subs, you wont regret with any.
