There are different kinds of ambulances available.

The Omni ambulance:
Maruti omni car variants: Ambulance, Cargo, LPG, CNG

The force motors Traveller Ambulance:
...::: Welcome to Force Motors : Products Section :::...

I repeat, the segments are quite different.

The M&M competes with Force in this case.

Thanks for clarification fountainheader, i am sorry i didnt mention that in my post..

I feel thats a good concept for India.. becsue its not as big as the traveller and not as small as Omni. and also it has the 2.6 CRDE heart..
could be a win-win situation.

No 14000rpm. Wed. 14th Jan 2009 to Fri. 16th Jan 2009.

Since its start in 1971 in Kortrijk, Belgium, Busworld is the world’s oldest and largest trade show for the coach and bus sector. It is held once in two years.

Busworld International Limited have held two shows called BUSWORLD INDIA two years ago and four years ago. The next BUSWORLD event will be from January 14-16, 2009 at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, Goregaon, Bombay.

A point of information to all our forum friends. Their website is
BUSWORLD INDIA 2009.

Just a quick question! I notice the TNRTC bus in the first picture as well as PMS coach in the last has Fast passenger or FP written on it? What does it mean in Kerala parlance?

That is TNSTC please!

Fast Passenger is a "class of service" approved by the Transport Department. Usually, the classes of scheduled stage carriages are divided into Ordinary, Express, then some types of Luxury. In Kerala, it is Ordinary, Fast Passenger/City Fast, Super Fast, Super Express, Super Deluxe, AC and Volvo.

Fast Passenger buses stop at lesser stops as compared to a Limited Stop ordinary bus. Ordinary buses stop at all places, Limited Stop Ordinary (LSOS) stops at major stops (usually alternate stops). A newer class of ordinary buses seen in Kerala is "FSLS" - Fare Stage Limited Stop: These buses stop only at Fare stage points.

FP buses stop at even lesser stops. Super Fast buses stop only at big bus stations.

The fare difference between the two is two paise per kilometer.

The following is the fare structure in Kerala: (paise per kilometre)

ORD: 55p
FP: 57p
Super Fast: 60p
Super Exp: 65p
Super Deluxe: 70p
AC: 90p
Volvo: 110p

Unfortunately, Kerala SRTC does not have "Telescopic" Fare.
