I have been using DHC branded 75 watts 4300k LED in my cars.
They are very effective.

I think yours is the dual barrel type with projector for the low beam and reflector in the high beam. So it would be H7/HB3 ( please confirm) for the low beam and H1/H7 for the high beam ( again, please confirm).

The DHC branded 75 watts LED costed me 8500 per pair.
Try to get the 4300k color temperature as it works better in different weather conditions and road types.
You may also try out the 55 watts version .

I suggest you to first upgrade the low beam , upgrade the high beam only if you need it.

Suggested the brand as I have been using it for quite a long time and am happy with its performance, I am in no way related to the brand.

One important thing to note though is - the LED chips always emit white light - the 6000K white.
Any other colours that you see, including 4300K temperature, are actually achieved by adding appropriate tints over the LED chip. This - also means that the actual lumens output of the LED - is lesser than the equivalent white bulb without temperature tint.

Really easy to install in the H18 holder of Ecosport, had to make a tiny modification in the bulb holder, it comes off the LEDs and can be secured with the bulb clamp, the actual bulb slides into it and is secured by frictional locking aided by 2 rubber gaskets. As plug and play as it gets.
I haven't aligned the headlights yet so i won't post pics, but the cut off seems as sharp as halogens, if not sharper.
The pic shows the H7 holder on the left, the right one is modified by me to fit the H18 holder. Looks neat to me, and fits like a glove.
Hello, can you please tell me how did you make this modification? If you can mention the exact tool and method to make such a precise cut, it would be helpful for all of us.

Hey there! Sorry about the late reply.. I've been tied up with work lately..
So.. You need a Dremel type tool. Handheld rotary grinder, i used the coarsest attachment they had.. It was a cylindrical black stone i think.
Mark the starting point and the depth of the indentation to avoid heartache later.

Hi All, what is the best recommendation for the Ecosport headlights and fogs? I am traveling back from UK and would like to upgrade my Ecosport lights. Jan 2017 model.

Hi Shibu. I can share my experience with you. I bought the Osram headlamps for High, Low and Fogs. Been using them since November 2021. Had no issues till now. The High and Low beams will have to be adjusted, no doubt. But the throw is great, the cut offs are sharp, and are very reliable. Did not need any modification, and the fan, the choke and the entire cable can be easily packed in the headlamp housing itself. No heating issues till date, and they work fabulous.

AFAIK, H1 is for highs, H7 are Lows, and H8/H11 marking ones are for Fogs. Fogs disperse, so even with low beams, oncoming traffic would feel its on High beam, but man! The way they illuminate the highway. With this setup, I've driven on pitch dark sections of Rajasthan, and the way all these when switched on, illuminate the darkest of the patches! Feels like day, every time.
