Oman. Fantastic road by the sea - goes on for miles and miles.
A few pages back Tanveer posted a night shot of city. I used the same technique to take a picture of Phoenix city

Another long exposure taken on the same night. Only light available was moon light (two days before full moon) and city lights at a distance.

To get the same effect you need to rotate the camera also along with the zoom.
One from my side after PP using Picasa.

rjstyles69, what PP you've done here? Can you please post the original?
Some more leaves...
Venkatesh, hope i got the tip in focus this time...

Sure Rudra , please dont expect my PP to be as complex and splendid as yours :). I changed the color tone and added stroke's using PS. Here you go.

may be the legendary Youtan Poluo flower (probably a myth) or else something very interesting....

Can somebody tell me what are these called? They're on my window grill. There's not much of dust there on the grill. Grill is not rusted. These are less than a cm in height. Interesting, and I need to know the name. :) |
devp24, thanks a lot. Now let me read about it.
@Rudra-da, devp24 - these are indeed the Lacewing eggs and not the Youtan Poluo Flower.
I have had lot of these growing up on the window grill of my room, and asked a friend who is very much into the world of insects and he confirms it.

I did that one too, but the turn rate was much faster than the zoom rate ending up in a bad image.
@Mayavi, great pics overall. The night shot of the rocky place has a good LOTR setting feel to it. Love your pics man. In a city that hardly has a multi-storeyed building it must have been tough to get that view of the city by night. I liked that one too
