One Sunrise shot from me too, after a short gap. |
That's a nice Thrissur sunrise. In this part of the world, the sun rises earlier than me. Hence no sunrise shots from my side.
:D
Mansidea

Nice. Change to spot metering. The results will be real good! :)

Try it at twilight, in manual mode if possible (experiment with exposure times). Some editing should help you get more details than a plain contrast pic that comes through once it gets dark.

Perfect timing, there were atleast two people shooting the moon that day from Bangalore!
I think if you underexpose a bit and you can get more detail.
I tried a moon shot with a 50mm lens stupid: (when I was shooting the second image below) and this is what I ended up with (cropped heavily). The 12x of S5 will really bring the moon much closer !
There was a really nice procession (Banashankari temple Bangalore) going on yesterday. I managed a few shots, but couldnt get the position right though.

Hey CD, thats a wonderful shot. What were the settings for this ? And did you edit the image in any way after it was shot ?
On a lighter side, did you find any signs of life at all ?:D
