I kinda like the non central compo. And nice mid day hdr!

@vivek
Hmm, its kinda challenging to get it right agin isnt it. Just encourages you to keep trying.

One more such moody shot. Technique was the same. Model was a slightly more cracked one this time...

Thanks man.

Here's the EXIF for the shot.

Camera: Canon EOS 50D

Aperture: f/5.6
Focal Length: 400 mm
Exposure: 0.00
ISO Speed: 100
Exposure Bias: 0 EV

The photograph is totally unprocessed. It was quite cloudy and in the late evening was hoping to get some showers which didn't happen but got this shot rather.

Complete EXIF details on this page. Flickr: More detail about Yesterday

@Gandhi: Good Macro Pictures. I never knew that a product like
Raynox DCR-250 exist. How useful is it, specially when it comes to focussing?

@Anirban: Awesome picture! Great timing.

It's a great tool I must say. It enlarges the image by 8x. The glass quality is amazing with very good sharpness.

Focusing takes time to learn as the DOF is very very narrow, 1-2 mm at max . So just a small camera shake and you get an out of focus image. So I keep the aperture set to f8 almost always to get maximum DOF when my 250 is on. The working distance for this lens is around 6 inches irrespective of zoom level on my S3IS. My success rate has been 1 out of 5 for the 250.

Here's a video I had taken using 250 to give you more perspective of how powerful this lens is.

TG,

You are smitten by B&W conversion. And I am not complaining, keep them coming. Love all of them.
