Thank you for the appreciation. I use Sony A200. The pic is at 1/500sec, F9, ISO400 and flash not used.

I used continuous shooting and picked up the best pic sharpened & cropped and posted it. No other PP done ( I do not know how to use PS )

And yes the guy was safe, guess he does it all the time.

@deky: Super shot of the fire. Well done mate! I just wish that it was desaturated a little bit.
I also use A200 - its a very capable camera!

Now u are firing on all cylinders! What a shot man, i just loved everything about it! Well done!

@Clevermax
Brilliant portrait, just brilliant.

My next click is in sharp contrast to your image, just the flip side of things :( I wonder, what the meaning of childhood is, in this little one's perspective.

Thanks TG for the comment!

Your image is not just beautiful in terms of composition but it conveys a lot of feelings which I am sure will touch many a viewers' hearts, mine included. Mumbai right?

EDIT: The mood of this pic goes very well with the color cast in it. nicely done.

Nice one deky; D

Doesn't fire look like a golden rose? Just me?

TG: reminds me of Slumdog. ( and the ISO speed! phew!)

Nice image TG but what is making me lil uncomfortable is the image in response to which it came in, I see u as a silent story teller with your pics and i always take inspiration and i also tell clever that i want to take images which conveys a story, a story which no one else notices.

@Pramodkumar
Actually it was not any response to a particular image, it just happened to be in contrast to it

TG - Nice shot. That should have been in very very low light, correct?

After f/1.4 and ISO 12800, I expected a fasted shutter speed. But 1/40 was surprising.

Proxima has already asked what I wanted to ask. Was it very very low light situation ? I dont know how often we get these extreme ends in all settings !
