Didn't quite get what you said .. This is not photo-shopped picture..

Then it might be the shooting mode that you used. Sunset mode or may be a white balance setting?

@punter: Can you reduce the HDR effect and make this shot bit more plain? I guess it would look good then |
You mean like this?

No; this one has a blue color cast..
Just opening your image in PS and hitting 'Auto Levels' and then some minor selective color corrections gave me this:
Auto-levels itself made a big difference. (you can just try it out)
For shaju, this one is an example where I completely removed the team-bhp watermark from the original image.
A shot of my son when he was a little more than 2 years old taken on b&w film.

First of all sorry for not being active here for a while. Very awesome shots going through the last few pages!! Hats off to you guys!!! :thumbs up
Meanwhile, my soulmate aka Sony DSC W35 is half dead! The capture button broke again and the cam acts very weird at times (it automatically toggles between the auto mode, night mode, etc) :Frustrati
...will those days come back...?
I clicked this one while my friends were enjoying in the Calicut Beach after bagging first place in the 'Ganamela Competetion' during the Kerala State Youth Festival 2010.
Criticism welcome. Happy clicking guys.
PS: This image was processed by CleverMax. Thanks a lot brother.

Hola guys, what's up? Visiting this thread after a long time. Missed so many amazing shots. Here are few from my side,
First shot from a shoot which I termed as Welcoming the Monsoon. Was at Udupi just during the start of a heavy monsoon this year. And boy, did it rained..
1. A boat at Malpe beach. I felt as if the boat was waiting for a better weather to raid the sea again.
2. Kind of a conceptual shot to depict the rain, waited inside the car for almost an hour to get someone with an umbrella to pass. (man, so less people use umbrellas these days :( ). Shot a few shots and liked this one most. That rainbow colors are due to CPL and car's sun film acting weirdly, I loved the effect so let it be there. Kind of adding color to otherwise monochromatic scene.
3. From a old shoot and that's our very own Amitoj sitting patiently at Kere Thonnur;). Two shot HDR.
Hope you guys like them..
Shot this at Koynanagar near Satara in Maharashtra. I love the background blur in this picture.
Shot at Bannerghatta Park
@kaushik: Loved the second and third pictures!

Good ones. I was wondering if the photo would look better without that guy around?
Clever; amit's pix has too much noise or was it intended to be so?

Thanks JK, are you talking about the third picture? If so here is one without any human element, but with slightly different angle. But here the highlight got blown out at the horizon where Sun rays are hitting.
Or you are talking about the boat? Here is another one of the boat but from a different angle. Pseudo HDR. Might have some unprocessed shot with the same angle as the previous one, will found out and give a try..

@TG: Thanks for wonderful comment.

Yes, without human that shot would have been better.
Critics are most welcome :)
@Pawan, somehow I feel that a human element adds to the story and I kind of try to include one if possible. I do shoot without any human presence also but somehow I tend to like the shots which have a person and kind of tells a story and the photograph becomes alive instead of just being a postcard. Just my point of view though and not that I don't love the shots without human. I love them too. Also it might depends on what I was thinking at that moment. Not trying to justify myself here but just putting out the thoughts and I might be totally wrong here. :)
had a rainless day between rainy days on 4th October:)

Noise is little high Anif, these type of pics look good with no noise.
