Thanks for viewing.

That's a very nice photograph Joy, the balance is evident and makes for a nice photograph. Way to go. I just wish the horizon was straight though.

Ha ha, I can almost imagine you saying it in Hindi :D.

Not sure if I have shared this one earlier,

Congrats on the new possession, show us more from this sensor !

My weekend was well spent indoors experimenting strobes as its the final lash of monsoon outdoors. 3 families were happy to give their 'time for photo' which I found as a good chance to learn. If anyone is not familiar with the term 'TFP' its Time for Print. They give their time and you return them with prints, in my case its soft copy given. Since I dont want to upload high resolution images in public, here is a random selection (10% of the original) to give an idea.

Exif: D700, 50mm at f/8, 1/90 and 1/125 throughout, 2 flashes at half power in reflective umbrellas on both sides, lower and higher angles , 1 flash from the side in full power to the white ceiling all fired through RF-602 trigger and receivers.

Thanks man, its a dual side muslin cloth bought from last month's Photo Today exhibition. Forgot to add in the last post: None of them are edited, all were shot in JPEG, 100% manual both on camera and flashes. Whats posted above is straight out of camera, except the frame and signature.

Nice clicks @shajufx. How much did you buy the backdrops for ? I'm looking for a white and black with the backdrop stand. Its quite expensive here in SG.

MICA Building, Singapore

This is a heritage building erected in 1934. Initially this housed the old hill st Police station , now occupied by the Ministry of Information, communication and Arts (MICA)

Thanks, it was quoted Rs.1300 and bargained down to 800. I dont have a back drop stand yet, thinking of making it myself with some steel tubes. Want to get a white flowing type backdrop (covering wall and floor). I think that should be plastic (washable), not fabric.
