very nice colors on this one!

This is straight from the phone, but it's an hdr, using the hdr option in camera 360. Was here on saturday.

Posting from phone using tbhp app, so I don't have an option to fix the orientation.

IMHO doesn't look much like an HDR, the sky seems all blown out. I tried it too on my ace, never liked the results. I couldn't find much of a difference actually. I thought maybe it was coz of the hardware.

Any more of these to share?

Creepy crawlies! How do you guys manage to click them and enjoy it! I get very uncomfortable just by looking at these on my monitor!

Congrats for the win though!

@DryIce - Thanks ...

Nice Picture of the set.Noticed that you had a 3 stop filter. Did you try a longer exposure say 10 secs ?

Couple of shots of Sultan Mosque, Near Arab Street, Singapore

Nice shot there Dry Ice.

Shot with Nikon D-90,18-105mm lens at Auro Beach,Pondicherry.

Gurus, comments and suggestion to further improve.

Dry Ice - Thank you, boss. We went to Vattakottai ( Circular Fort) only as it is quite close to Kanyakumari. I don't remember the exact distance from Kanyakumari to Rameswaram, but I think it is not that near to Kanyakumari. Anyway I have been planning to go to Rameswaram and Dhanushkoti for some time now, I'm hoping to visit the place in 2011 itself.

Shajufx - you are a rock star, my friend. Nice capture.
PS: Dry Ice, you want to shoot light houses, come to Trivandrum. I will give you three in Trivandrum itself. :)

Barely 12 feet. After he heard the click of the shutter, paused, locked his eyes with mine sending down a cold chill down my spine, waited and then continued his walk.

The dire need for the 2nd camera body was never felt before, since I was shooting with the 80~200 and as the King came closer & closer, the lens wouldn't focus. I wish I had a 2nd body with the 24~70 on it..

Hi Everyone,
I joined the forum recently but I have been following the amazing work done by all of you for a long time.. ShajuFX, Torqueguru and many others! Photography is also my passion (apart from cars!) and I have begun my journey in the world of photography seriously only a few months back. I bought my first DSLR, Nikon D90 (highly influenced by Shaju!) and also have added a few lenses so far : 50mm 1.8D, 24-85 mm f2.8-3.5, and 70-300 VR.
I am yet to learn the art of photography.. camera is just the tool, the real art lies in the photographer. I look forward to the guidance from all the masters !
Sharing a few pics from a recent trip to Dubai. This was at a night time open air restaurant, with a lot of interesting displays!

Nice shot Dry Ice. A similar shot from my side. Location : Dal lake , Srinagar.

Looking at that image, we know who made whose spine chilled !! Poor animal, he might have looked at you and thought "Dilli ka sher ithar kaise ? (how come the Delhi LION is here ?) " and went in a hurry saving his dear life :D

Thanks for the good words guys !

I feel you should have kept the horizon straight. The figures remind me of Sherlock's story - The Dancing Men.:D

Thanks! This one was with a 3 stop ND. Anything higher than 4-5 secs, the sky was getting blown out. I had posted a couple of shots with 3/4 mins exposure some pages back. Those I took through a welding glass.

Great! Looking forward to the pics then. I need to visit so many places, haven't been able to coz of work. I think I should stop working or take a few months off.

Well past the 30 min editing window, hence new post.

A pseudo-HDR, generated from a single raw.
