Those pelican shots are from which location? Excellent capture. Wish they were little closer.

Thank you sir, I took them in Lalbagh. This is the migratory time for these birds and are found in this part of the year at Lalbagh. I am using a 55-250 IS lens so the reach was maxed out at 250.

This is a much better composition from the previous one, I guess center compo works better for this.

If there is no noise then it's worth going for a biggish print. This shot has lot of drama.

Rudra, its was iso-100 and there is actually no noise inspite of me dialing in +0.5 exposure compensation while processing the RAW.
Big print looks interesting, if I ever put in an exhibition, this is going to be in it.

My first image processing

After seeing so many pictures in this, I am not able to control my enthu. Eventhough I have no experiance or for that matter know zero technical infos on pictures, I wanted to try one. That said, its just trail and error adjustment I did and made sure it looks good for my eye.

Used the Canon ZoomBrowser EX software that came with my IXY70.

The original one (I have already posted this in this same thread)

Processed one (Is it eligible for that )

This initiative just reminds me of this.

@ Mjothi : why dont you try to extract more of the dark parts and the sky looks a bit too over "hued", other than that pic is good
