Black Ops 1 or 2 ? I guess you bought the Essentials version of Dues Ex. But, it was free on ps+ couple of months back .

nope. Dont buy at 3K. Although it got a huge rating at ign, i played it on my friend's PC and found it not good enough. Of-course, i will buy it on PS3 later. But, i strongly suggest you buy an used copy for 2K or do a temporary trade with someone. Not worth 3K anyways. I suggest you spend that much of money on Farcry 3. Heard good reviews of it. But, if you're a racing guy and wants only Most Wanted, then, i suggest you wait a month and then buy.

Hi, I bought a PS3 + Move kit recently from a colleague. Faced the following problems:
a. The camera does not capture clear picture. The picture is distorted with running dots. This was true when we checked the system at his place before buying. He said that it should clear up automatically.
b. I get a sound from the CD drive, like disc getting stuck at random. This is true while playing via the disc and playing a stored game. If the disc is in the drive, I get the noise at random.

Please suggest what can be the possible issues?

Even I have the Move camera and the picture is "grainy" if you can call that - It does have sort of dots over it. But it does not matter right? - As long as it is able to recognize the Move controller it is not an issue - the camera is for taking some occasional photos but not proper detailed photos. I think this is not an issue at all.

I have no idea about your 2nd issue.

I haven't used the Move much. But, i guess its like that. I mean, during calibration of camera , it shows the camera-out in grainy manner.

The second issue, Well, i know that sound. I do get that sometimes when i play .Even when i play digital games , i get that sound usually. There is nothing to worry. Happy gaming

Dirt 3 Complete Edition - Racing game - I did not have any racing game yet.
Red Dead Redemption.

I got the first 2 from flipkart as I was getting some discounts. I got Red Dead second hand. Most probably will start with Red Dead as I have heard its a classic for PS3.

Is your HDMI cable issue sorted out? you were having some connectivity problems right? If so, what did you do to correct it?

Hi,

Actually I did not resolve the issue. I am still playing without HDMI. I know it is very lazy of me but I will try to do it tomorrow. If nothing works out, I will go the shop and tell him to replace the HDMI cable.

A question for the Xbox gamers:

Enticed by better prices for the gaming software, ended up buying four titles in the US (Kinect Sports Ultimate, Disneyland adventures, Forza Horizon and Dance Central-3). Reading fine print on the boxes, I see that the games would only work on NTSC systems. Naturally, my Xbox bought in India is a PAL one. So would any of these games work for me? I can open the covers and pop it in to check, but, if it is sure to not work I'm thinking a sealed pack would be easier to return or resell...

Congrats on your new purchases. All are pretty good games in their genre. Read Dead Redemption - i guess you bought GOTY over standard one. Its one of the very open-world games.

So, you still playing with that AVI cable ? You have to use that hdmi to get the best output and graphics. You will see the difference one you change it to hdmi. So, stop being lazy and resolve the issue, somehow!
