That is the best part of the Ultra 2. It does not get any scratches even after rough usage. My watch had a fall from 6' height onto tiled floor. No scratch and worked perfectly well.

I keep nicking it but have no worries now.

Re: The quintessential Apple Watch thread

[Specifically I would want to get NATO Strap and Exercise Bands for my Apple Watch Ultra.]

If you are specifically looking for NATO sitars would suggest trying https://fridaystyle.in/collections/apple-rugged-look

Order quite few of them, very reasonable for the price and quality offered.

Mine Ultra got updated to OS11 during the night, while at charge. I can see "Apple remote" added to the widget and the distance units changed from kilometer to meter, probably more accurate measurements.

Another thing, it will be interesting to know the "Training Load" weekly data, If I'm under training or over training, will keep an eye on it

Have you observed any other distinct feature yet from the previous OS?

Re: The quintessential Apple Watch thread

Hello,

I am on Airtel postpaid with e sim on my 15 Pro Max. Bought an Apple Watch Ultra 2, black, but for some reason not able to connect to cellular on the watch.

Was using Apple Watch 7 GPS version. Have unpaired and removed from my Apple ID

I am using an IPhone 15 pro max which was bought in the US in February. Not sure what is the issue.

Any insights !!

I faced a similar thing with Jio last year when I moved from iPhone 12 pro Max to 15
pro Max.

My Apple Watch Ultra 1 cellular was working seamlessly with the iphone 12 Pro Max but I was unable to pair it and make it work with the 15 Pro Max.

I was at my wits end and went to the Jio shop.
They made me unpair the watch and reconvert the phone e sim to regular sim and then re-do the watch pairing and all sorts of stuff.

Best for you to pop in to an Airtel shop and ask them I think.

Ok. Thanks. Have raised a complaint with Airtel. Mine is already an e-sim, and I can’t go back to regular sim as my iPhone 15 Pro Max is ‘e-sim only’ version (US version)

Hopefully it should be solved.

Regards.

I had the same issue with my Ultra 2 , my series 6 was cellular but was completely erased before moving to Series 8 GPS. Airtel had to reset the count from backend and was asked to try after 30 minutes and viola it worked like a charm and E-sim was active within 2 minutes.

Real time benefits in my case whenever my heart beats have changed during runs or over exertion time, notifications are blessing during that time to say, “take it easy” !

A must have gadget IMO.

Re: The quintessential Apple Watch thread

So, I've picked up the Ultra 2. Since I've moved from the G-Shock's I'm finding the watch to be less in size for my wrist.

Got a Spigen cover to make things better.

Awesome! Just a note on the Spigen cover – it can mess up the watch body with water/sweat seeping in. And the case material is too rigid and take out and clean every now and then.

It’s a good buy overall this apple watch Ultra.
Im using the Ultra 1 since it was launched.
Perhaps if the Ultra 3 (whenever it comes) has a sufficiently significant incremental differential, I may consider.
Do you have a very large wrist circumference? Asking because the Apple Ultra has a 49mm case which is pretty large.

Thanks. Well, I thought the titanium case was pretty durable that way, but yes, will make a note.

Thanks. Its not about wrist circumference, it's just coming from the G-Shock range, I wanted something similar. I have also bought the metallic chain band to go with mundu.

BTW, how critical is to have a screen guard on the watch?
