Flipkart acted smart and developed a neat looking mobile website which is actually better than the app itself. Best part is they didn't put up a start page which asks us to install the app, takes just right to the categories.

Re: The Online Shopping Thread

The fact that you don't get to feel and try something that you plan to buy is in a way disappointing and to further that disappointment, by just watching it on a 5 inch screen is really silly in my opinion.

Was checked industry buying.com and found Hella Curvo (19" & 21").

The image on the website is of Hella DynaEdge whereas the title and description isn't displaying Curvo.

Has anyone bought wipers from these guys?

How so?! Just the other day I did not complete a 15k purchase on Flipkart because the deal was not applicable on PC !

Usually it takes a week's time to list the tracking number on the order page. Once you get the tracking number, you can check on the courrier site or here - https://www.17track.net/en

PS: For Sweden Post, the tracking link for my package was http://directlinktrackedplus.com/mul...ck-client2.php

Not bought wipers, but I purchase a bunch of stuff from them. Mostly DIY.

They are not very good with their listings, specifically images. I have purchased based on their title with a wrong/no image. The product has been as described.

You can always return it.

Re: The Online Shopping Thread

I had placed a couple of orders for camera accessories on Aliexpress on 14th of Jan.
One order says "Its delivering right now" (its been the same since last 7 days, but nothing has come)
Other is in customs.
And one is not traceable. It opens a Chinese website for tracing.

Shall I wait till the order completes a month or shall I raise a dispute?

What does tracking using this link say?
I tried using the link you gave. It says : No information, please check your item identifier

May be the shipping method is different.

Re: The Online Shopping Thread

I tried to buy something from Amazon US. At the very last step of confirming payment, there was a note that I should enter KYC info: either Driver's License #, Voter ID, Aadhar # or PAN #, and that I should edit my shipping address and enter this. Weird thing is, there is no place to enter this info. Any guidance will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

If you go to your account manager > manage shipping addresses, you will find the place to enter this. Screenshot attached.

Thank you, binand. I clicked on the edit address link but this additional field was not there. I will do as you suggest first, then add items to the cart and checkout.

Re: The Online Shopping Thread

In my experience, the couriers will contact the buyer with a link to upload this KYC (allways confuse it with KFC!) copies. It's a nuisance, but it seems it has to be done for India customs regulations.
