It is indeed very useful. It is also displayed on the camera while and after you take pics.

Welcome to the DSLR world!. Did you purchase from US or India? BTW I think you are aware that all oly cams sold after april 2005 have their warranty valid all over the world.

I purchased it in US via Amazon (adorama store) in Feb-2006, yes it does have worldwide warranty . The body, two lenses, B&W MC UV filter for both lenses and Sandisk 2GB Ultra II memory cost me about 67K.

The tripod and lowepro photorunner bag was bought in R K Photoguide in Bangalore.

what a coincidence @samurai! I also got my camera bag and tripod from RK photoguide!!
However I purchased my rebel from Delhi and got another free bag with it, and since the canon bag is smaller its my primarily travel bag

I got mine for 2500. It has 2 camera compartments which can fit 2 SLR cams with kit lens, 2 lens compartments. In normal use I keep the kit lens on and the camera in camera compartment, zoom lens in one compartment, the second big compartment gets the battery charger and stuff, with loads of side and front pockets going unused! Excellend quality bag with great padding and not too big too.

I don't think this is OT, camera bags are very important to any serious photographer.
The bag price was similar to Amazon.com price. I paid Rs.2350 for the LowePro photorunner. If they don't have what you need, they can get the exact model you want. I am able to store my camera with lens attached, and the extra lens and charger. It has both shoulder mount and waist mount.
