I have a Sony DSC-H2 (6mp, 12x optical) with Raynox DCR 2020 Pro (2.2x tele convertor). Quite a good camera with near SLR features. I use it for my weekend bird / butterflies / flower shoot trips.
Anyone interested in joining the bird watching group in and around mumbai, PM me.

I had similar problem on my Casio cam. Had to format SD card and lost a lot of pics too! You can try some data recovery software(search google), otherwise formatting the card is the only option!

I use an Olympus Camedia 5060 Widezoom. It can accommodate an XD Picture card ad a CF card simultaneously.

Bought it for ~$500 including additional card in Mid 2004. Pix have been fabulous. This camera has a very good shutter speed.

Try formatting it in the computer. If it does not help. most probably the card has gone bad, which IMHO pretty rare occurance. Try to get a replacement from the place you got the card.
