You may be right on the european prices. But remember Airtel and Vodafone will be locking the i-phone for 2 years too as informed by the operators. So it should be the same pricing like the US. Now a 2 year contract or a 2 year sim lock will give the same effect to the end-user, or am I missing something here ? |

The irony is that a lot of people still believe the $199 and $299 price tags. Take the commitment cost into account and you're tying yourself up for a lot more. Of course AirTel and Voda still tie you in for iPhone-specific plans even after they take 31k/37k from you. THAT is the right royal ride. |

@harry... dont take it to heart dude! The US prices are with 2 year contract and hence the phone is subsidized. In europe an unlocked iphone without any contract obligations retails for 550+ Euro's and if you convert it to Indian rupees its about the same. |

I bought the Nokia E66 on August 9. I am loving it! But, the Navigation is crazy! For those of you who know the roads from Navi Mumbai to Chembur, the navigation asked me to take a non-existant left at the Chembur-Mankhurd link road. Even if I did take the left and drove through wild grass, it would have put me straight on the railway tracks! :Shockked: And the 2GB memory card that I got with the phone got corrupted on the fourth day. This resulted in the maps application not working. Bought a new card and now things are smooth. I upgraded from a Motorola Razr V3i. |
