please check if its the HTC P3450 or P4350 as there is no model by the number P3450

P3450 exists. But the enhanced version of it with more memory is P3452.

Meanwhile, I am thinking of a HTC TyTn II. Got an offer of a 2 month old for 21K. Is this a good deal?

@F50, Make sure you set the show WIFI avialibility to "Never" otherwise the it keeps checking for an available connection every 5 mins or so.

Yup just checked, it is on Never.

Hi f50 are you using anything like a step counter or something? this runs in the background and really used to kill my n95 battery real quick

Ya I used Step Counter once but that was a month back. This problem just started 3 days back.

@ aza - I downloaded Jbak Taskmgr. It shows no applications nor does the normal task manager ie (holding the menu key).

If this problem continues for 2 more days, I am straight away taking it to Nokia Care.

F50 in the jbak taskman settings click the "show hidden apps"

I think battery would be a direct replacement at nokia care since there is no repair possiblities. This would be the best option if the problem continues

I dont need a QWERTY keypad just a numeric one. I use the Sony G900 now.

Any reviews on the Asus Pda's?
I wanted to buy one but at the same time not too much interested in a bulky piece.
Should have Wifi and GPS.

Finally bought a new HTC TyTn II (aka AT&T Tilt) for 18k.

btw those buying touchscreen pseud phones, please buya cheapo nokia 1k wala as well. my colleague's Touch (first bunch) has just got an issue with it. Now he can just take/return calls, nothing else.

/he read some arbit google, did a hard reset and Windows Mobile got stuck with the touchscreen calibration software, thus making his set capable of only receiving calls (without any number displayed :D)!
/Have shown him irags' HTC warranty threads, so he's gearing up with a standby fone :D

Congrats - that is a terrific phone.

Am selling my iPhone in DXB (believe it or not, for a higher price than what I paid for it!) to get an HTC Touch Pro soon.

Steer, did you get hold of a HTC Touch Pro?

If yes, can you give us a comparo with iPhone.

On paper, there is NO comparison - the HTC is a few light years ahead of the iPhone.

Will update on actual experience later.
