I have been using this, http://www.amazon.in/ADATA-PT100-100...=sr_1_2&sr=8-2 since last one year or so. Extremely happy with its performance. Only thing that few may not like is it's form factor compared to those slim models from honor and mi. Otherwise, excellent product.

Do you these allow you to charge the phone from the power bank while the power bank itself is being charged? I have heard that some power banks do not allow this.

I haven't tried it so far, but at the same time i don't see the reason why it should not charge? Anyway, i will try this today and let you know.

Looks like Ambrane and TP Link Power banks don't allow you do this. When Asus & MI ones do.

You are correct. My Ambrane doesn't charge while it is charging the phone. And my 2 mah port is kaput, only the 1 mah port works. It has also lost its full charging capacity and only goes around the 3rd cell when charged to full capacity.

Nope, it doesn't charge your phone or device when charging itself.

Re: The Mobile Phone Thread - Queries, decisions, discussions all here

I recently brought 64gb micro SD card for my dashcam. When I connect this SD card to my mobile (through OTG card reader), it does not get detected. But the same would get detected on a laptop. Just to rule out the OTG card reader, i used 8GB and 32GB cards and i see them detected in my mobile.
So, my question is, is there any restriction on the capacity for OTG media in an android mobile?
Btw, I have tested this on OPO and Redmi2.

The micro sd card needs to be formatted as Fat32 or exFat to be recognised on OTG. Does not read NTFS file formats by default. Please check that.
It is also possible that your otg reader does not support 64gb cards.

I checked and found that 64GB card is having exFAT FS where as other two cards are having FAT32 FS. When i tried to format 64GB to FAT32, I get an error message 'The file is too big for FAT32'. Before I saw your message, i didn't know about exFAT FS. Any idea, whether some of the mobiles only support FAT32 and not exFAT?
And my card reader does support 64GB, because when i connect the same to laptop, the card des get recognised.

Re: The Mobile Phone Thread - Queries, decisions, discussions all here

Folks,

Can some one suggest a phone which has a physical keypad and supports whatsapp. I am ok to buy an used phone in a good condition.

This is for a senior person who is interested in WhatsApp but cannot really get a hang of touch screen phones.

I use a 10400 mAH PNY power-bank which I have brought from Amazon (http://www.amazon.in/PNY-BE-740-1040...pny+power+bank) - this allow you to charge your phone while the power bank is being charged. Using this for almost an year and happy with this one.
