You are posting on multiple topics Sir. There is absolute CLARITY that the Indian Samsung S8 and S8+ units are Dual Sim models. However the sim slot is a hybrid sim slot i.e. that you can either use a 2nd sim card or a SD card. Hope that clarifies your issue once for all.

Cheers...

@dkaile; Thanks for the confirmation. I am surprised that Samsung is totally quiet on this. After 45 minutes of searching I still could not find an iota on 'gyan'.

I have a generic one that looks like it was spawned by an alien, but I got it free with my phone.

Spigen has some nice looking ones that aren't too bulky. The one I use is completely covered on all sides, so offers good protection for my clumsy hands.

Great. i somehow missed it. I guess S8+ and S8 share the dual SIM. I think when I go to my bank tomorrow which is in the same mall as the Sammy outlet, I will check out and quite likely book. Thanks a lot. Also, storage is enough for my usage. StanC is giving some cash back so I probably do not stand to lose much.

Time to get this thread out of slumber☺ Are there any good options available for a clamshell phone? I know they are extinct species, but would love to have one.

Feeling bad now as had sold 2 of them as replacement for better and bigger phones in old days.

USB charging cables hardly last 3 to 6 months for me. I need to buy a few spare ones (just the cable, not the adapter). What are some good quality ones which will last atleast for a year.

These are the two I bought to replace mine. Both are working flawlessly for more than a year.

I can vouch for the Tukzer lightning cable, which has lasted for over a year. Baseus ( nylon covering), Rock ( noodle type), voxlink( 10 cms with leather covering), all failed within 6 months ( all lightning cables).

Get 'Anker' or 'Aukey' ones. These are quite reliable and very popular with bhpians.

PS - You will get them cheaper on AliExpress, if you can wait.
