As for invites, it has been 4 days since I got the phone and Oneplus/Amazon have not sent me invites to forward yet. I guess they are going by stocks at hand.

That is not entirely true. The first batch of OnePlus One sold in India are global versions, which will continue to receive the OTA updates. The phones that will be sold in a few weeks from now without the Cyanogen Logo in the back will be India based phones and they will not receive the OTA Updates.

Here is a official release from Cyanogen :

I mean, Really ? This whole one plus one.
Like CrazyDriver - apologies in advance from me. A phone is a phone, isn't it? So, what makes this so very special - and how is it that there are people who kill for it and ignorant people like me are hearing it for the first time. I did come across a few posts on the "giveaway thread', but am really amazed at the craze some people have for this phone. Sigh !. And I thought I use the phone for what its intended to do !.
So, some serious research begins from me now ! :)

The biggest issue with Chinese phones like Xiomi is that they use the MIUI ROM, which is fine, but upgrades may not be available, banned or otherwise.

Thanks. I've used CyanogenMod with my Galaxy S2 few years back and found it very impressive. Have been out of touch with the android community ever since I made the (stupid) decision of shifting to an iPhone. Never knew Cyanogen is now into phones.

Will google more on this for sure. Thanks once again.

Cyanogenmod is not into phones. The One Plus One (OPO) is developed by One Plus and is its first product. Cyanogenmod is the custom ROM available out of the box for the OPO.

I sometimes think how "Media" digs up months old information and it spreads like wildfire.

Well it is not old , It is 2nd re-occurrence after some 7-8 months, Deathring attack is of same family of trojan as Mouabad but slightly modified. The latest detection is fairly recent as of Nov - Dec.

In this case, malware was signed with certs of OEM. That is pretty serious.

I've recently got a new OnePlus One with my India specific invite. Now, I'm facing the below mentioned 2 issues.

1) I'm facing an issue in blocking a call via the settings with wildcard entry. I'm trying a lot, but it says invalid format while entering the number with suggested wildcard format.
I'm trying to add a number that starts with +911409 with the suggested wild card format of "+911409." Note the '.' as suggested in the wild card settings. Need suggestions. (Posted earlier).

2) When the phone is charged, the quick settings icon for battery states "Charged". But, in the settings for Battery, it still shows 100% - Charging (AC) and not Full as in other android phones. Is this a bug or is it like this in all phones. Thanks.

Also, what is the correct OnePlus One forum or any other place where I can post these issues for a possible solution. Thanks.

The box in which I received my Indian OnePlus One has "Global version" mentioned on it. Also, the word "CYANOGEN" is printed on the back cover of the phone, while the images on Amazon India does not show this on one of the image of the back of the phone.

Yes, according to the information from one plus forums, first 20000 units sold are global version phones. The Indian version will initially run with the Color OS like the Chinese models. But, I wouldn't be too worried about what version you get, because oneplus will be releasing the beta version of their own OS based out of Android Lollipop.

Using the OnePlus One since the past couple of days. I too am facing the same issue. So far, a reboot of the phone is fixing the issue. Hopefully I'll find a better solution.

Did you try using the refresh button at the top right hand side? Because that fixed this issue for me.
