I'm attaching a few snapshots from today's scenario. Can you help? Can anyone make out what the problem could be? That gap in battery status is when the phone just went blank and came back up after a few seconds. |

I am still on 4.1.1, the phone has never bothered to show me that there is new update available. When did you get 4.1.2? I guess I will just download and flash 4.2. |

Clevermax, Apparently there are so many versions on Gnex and only the YAKJU and TAKJU versions are the Google maintained firmwares. So only these versions get the latest and fastest updates from Google, other devices have to wait. So in order to get the latest updates on time, we need to convert our device or rather flash it with google maintained firmwares YAKJU or TAKJU. I was also stuck on 4.1.1 YAKJUXW. I used Nexus Root Toolkit and moved to YAKJU. I am waiting for the 4.2 OTA from Google.. |

Thanks. I was aware about the yajku tajku stuff :) But why do they call it like that? In my phone all I see is this : Attachment 1013729 I guess I will also move to the one you mentioned, by manually flashing it. |

Yes this is a samsung maintained firmware. This is a YAKJUXW. Quoting from XDA forums. Using any file manager app, go into your /system folder and open the file called "build.prop". Find the line that starts with ro.product.name. This will show your device version. You should find YAKJUXW here, I guess. Use the Nexus Root Toolkit and move to YAKJU 4.1.2 and wait for the OTA from Google. |
