15 hours and 12 hours seem to be comparable. I had my Atrix 2 lasting more than 2 days on 2G, but on 3G its less than 13-14 hours with usage similar to yours and full time exchange sync for office email :Frustrati Now, can you beat such a difference? :) The sim refreshing part I believe is because you're using 3G from a provider who doesn't have 3G license in that circle and apparently using roaming with some other operator. For e.g. Airtel in Kerala doesn't have 3G license but provide the same through Idea cellular. If on 3G services, I believe you've to learn to live with it or go for a phone with better back up. |

Update: today if lasted 10 hours only with full charge with sparse net usage and zero calls!!! I think i will switch back to 2G !:Frustrati Yes in karnataka, Vodafone does not have 3G. They use AirTel's support for 3G. And i am running on vodafone! :( Will search for some apps which can increase the battery life on 3G. If it does not work out then i will switch back to 2G |

Guys, Apparently 4.2 update is only available for TAKJU devices. Looks like we will have to move to TAKJU 4.1.2 and then check for updates. Any one ready for the switch ? |

Are you sure it is just TAKJU devices only? I thought it was only YAKJU or both of them. |

Yes. I checked the Google factory images site. 4.2 is listed only for TAKJU not for YAKJU. https://developers.google.com/android/nexus/images |

You are right. I am planning to flash YAKJU 4.1.2 hoping that I'll get the 4.2 OTA pretty soon. What say? |

I am on 4.1.2 and on takju and just checked. No update yet. Seems Strange. Is there any other way to determine whether it can be updated? |

how did you know you are takju ? could you post the screenshot of your build prop ? You can manually update by flashing the update from virtual SD card Hells_Fury got the OTA on 4.1.2 TAKJU. Hhm. We could do that. I am gonna try my luck for few more days and may be they will launch it for YAKJU too. I will have to re-install all the apps again, if I convert to TAKJU. :) |

Goto Maps, Settings, About and it shows the build as Samsung Takju. Got to know this way to check from XDA :). Flashing means rooting right? |

Anyway I will have to re-install or restore apps from a Titanium backup. Any harm in moving straight to takju 4.2 build? Just the system and data, without touching the radio and all - If Takju is going to be the first build which gets updated on every new version, that is Flashing means rooting? no! Or I read it wrongly? |

Even my Nexus 7 running 4.1.2 is not showing any update. A friend's Nexus 7 which was bought 2 months before mine got the 4.2 OTA update already. |
