Need help in how to switch on/off the driving mode on Galaxy Note 2 ? Thanks.

Unfortunately, I lost my xperia today. Any idea how i can remotely wipe out the data. The only upside is that i got to buy a galaxy tab 2. Enjoying the 7 " screen now.

First of all, did you try to install plan B app remotely in order to trace its location in case it is still lying somewhere?

UPDATE on 4.2 - finally, all apps gave updates! Dolphin browser is once again running with blazing speeds in my nexus7!

Major software versions are always buggy. It takes 1 or 2 iterations for the software to become stable. This is nothing new with Android, it applies to ALL kinds of software.

So we should be getting a 4.2.x update pretty soon.

Flashed franco's kernel onto my Gnex, and phone is running at 1.8 GHz now :)

Noticed better calibrated display! Green tint is gone. However, there is significant performance drop in graphics department.

reverting back to stock kernel as of now.

Welcome to the club. Its been 10days since 8 switched on my personal pc.. and 10days of ownership of the note 2.

Problem with the dock is, you can not use if you are using any case with your mobile. You will need to remove the case to put it in dock.

Oops, I am using flipcover with my Note. I will try to find something that holds the phone from top and bottom. This looks to be one of the possibility

I too have an air vent phone holder for my Note. Since I use the flip cover, I'm not able to use this. The one you have shown is a possibility but have doubts whether the suction will hold properly on the dash. Heard many negative reviews in many sites when it comes to suction cups on dash.

Let me know if you come across any good holders. I too plan to buy one for my Note.

If its anything like Galaxy S3 (which I am presuming it will most likely be), it is buried under;

Settings > Language and input > text-to-speech output > Driving mode

Got the GNex for the wife after Defy came down with a hardware issue (speaker problems). The GNex is available for 19500 at shop 131, ghaffar market (just went out of stock as we reached). we bought from another chap near his shop who had confirmed stock on phone via asklaila - he let us try the phone fully before buying. try as in satisfy ourselves that it is in perfect condition.

The wife is over the moon :D
