Hi, wanted to check with you about the call quality. Have heard some unpleasant things about Dell devices regarding the call clarity. Thanks.

The best part of the Dell XCD35 is its call quality. you can read reviews about Orange San Fransisco/ ZTE blade. everywhere the tests have proved that the calling is very good.

also GPS lock is very quick.

re: Android Thread: Phones / Apps / Mods

Hello! I have the LG Optimus One P500 and badly want to upgrade it to 2.3. Has LG come out with the update yet! What are they waiting for? My current version reads - 2.2.2. Kernel version - 2.6.32.9, build number - FRG83 and Software version - V10e-MAR-28-2011. Has someone managed to get an update later than this?

Wondering whether 2.2.1 is available for the Samsung Galaxy 551. 2.3 has not come (samfirmware.com). Also, is it worth it to update from 2.2 to 2.2.1?

@Jedi: One of my relatives has had XCD28 since Dec. He's a happy camper. Except for the battery life.

@War: Oh yes - you got late. It worked all of April and upto 15 May

You are completely mistaken. A friend has the MI-300 and couldn't be happier. He runs Gingerbread (via CM7).

Decent for the price

I want to smite all such ad-fart-ware out of my phone. First the apps do minimum work - then they bill you just like that. WTH

PS: The irony - short of asking your janampatri - they ask 3-4 questions before cust care talks to u - but for billing, NO click is required. Shameless cheats
I had an experience wherein I got a message ' thank you for downloading Java game ' I was charged 99 for that. I raised a complaint and the 99 was refunded. Now this din happen by clicking on ad. But anyways u can always ask them for refund if u did not do the download intentionally.
