Congratulations. Swift would still reign this segment because of the Diesel variants!
Yours I presume would be the first to have the ownership(of ZDI) review and awaiting the same!

Cheers!

The color is Artic White and no mods planned as of now. But thinking of getting better tyres in the following months.

Would be buying the ZDI so dont know much about the slotting. I guess there would be provision made for the VDI variant.

Congrats! Looking forward to your review I guess yours will be the first one on T-BHP!

What was the final offer you got? I'm guessing Maruti aren't giving any freebies or discounts

Nopes, no discounts whatsoever. Not even corporate discounts. The wait list is 3 months for petrol and over 4 months for diesel.

The new sift seems even more fun. Have an old swift (red 2005 make. Vxi ABS) and recently bought figo diesel (titanium). Couldnt convince my dad to wait for the new swift! :( though figo aint that bad

Yes absolutely correct. I felt the same too. The horn position was a little uncomfortable and the horn also did not sound good.

No freebies what so ever!! But will push for mud flaps and mats for sure.

The final OTR 7.18 lacs (including the charges for the required reg no. )

Which dealer in Mumbai is this if I might ask? I am guessing 4 months would be for the VDi.

My dealer (Sai Service) is yet to come back to me on the delivery. I had booked the ZDi in July. I am not too impressed with Sai Service on the whole; its only the convenience factor that made me go to them.

And it looks like his review will beat the T-BHP official review too . There is no word on that from the moderators.

Spectra Borivali, since I was interested in the ZDI I believe the sales guys told me the waiting period of the same and ZXI.
I feel among the diesels the VDI variant would have the longest queue.

Congrats Racer_X! First Swift 2011 on team BHP and that too from Pune. Great! Hoping to see the car in flesh in the next TeamBHP Pune meet. Awaiting your ownership thread. BTW, 7.18 lacs OTR is a cool price I say including the number of choice. Its too tempting.

As expected - getting a discount from Maruti on the Swift is possibly the hardest thing ever! Hope I can push for some freebies!

Lucker, my quote came to 7.47 OTR! But they say it includes 'Basic Accessories', 3rd Year Warranty and comprehensive insurance! Did you get insurance on your own?

Also does the car come with floor mats?

I know - I really thought it would be out by this Sunday. Maybe they couldn't stop driving it
