Slightly OT, lohit urs in cedia sports won inrc k1000 rally. I think this time they used stock cars as per new rules.

The Cedia is a super-duper car. Fail to understand why there aren't many takers for her. Hopefully that should get corrected with a downward revision in its price. Anyway you enjoy her to the fullest and I eagerly look forward to an ownership report soon.

P.S. Just wondering buddy: would you now add Cedia to your handle?!!

Haha. Well, Baleno is my first car. Dad bought it on my birthday, when I was still in school and had just a learner's license. The Baleno is also the car that accompanied me on my first night out, made me join TeamBHP, the car in which I and my girl made out and of course, the car which taught me a lot. Hence, the handle should remain unchanged.

Many congrats .. no better car below 15l OTR anywhere .. so fantastic choice and wish you many happy years .. I am eyeing one myself .. so couple queries ..

1 - does it come with MOMO + Oz's
2 - did you get to check the engine manufacture date? Rather how old is the car? Not that it matters too much but wanted to know if it's purely stock clearance

Even if the new lancer comes in, I won't regret buying the cedia sports .. which is priced a couple sets below it's home segment

No & Yes. No because did not check the engine manufacturing date. Yes because checked how old the car is and it was about 50 days old. That is what Dad told me as he brought the car home. I am still to drive my new baby.

Just checked with the dealer today, all new manufactures and not stock clearance ... so yaaay :-) I am waiting for the SVR showroom to open as Bangalore has no mitsu showroom past 4 months!

Please correct me if I am wrong, but hasn't the Mitsubishi showroom on residency road (cash pharmacy building) been open for a while now, and more pertinently, isn't it still open. Seemed like that to me when I passed it.

People here gave been asking why the Mitsubishi doesn't sell more, and for me the answer is as simple as, FIAT. Like them they have brilliant cars, but A.S.S is so bad and so scarce, people are reluctant to buy

As we can see by now the march price drop didn't really work for the Cedia. It was a bit too little too late. A superb car and if a buyer holds on to it for 5 odd years it makes more sense than other cars a couple of lacs dearer. But if one sells in less than 3 years than one is at a substantial loss.

They need a refresh all to soon.

Cedia prices seem to have been hiked upwards. Just been to Pethkar Motors Showroom at Senapati Bapat Rd. Only Cedia Select available in showroom. A July 2012 white Cedia Sports available in their stock. The guy mentioned that they would not be having Cedia Sports anymore. As per their quotation, here's the breakup for Cedia Select,
Ex-showroom: Rs.890000
Octori: Rs.17800
Extended Warranty: Rs.6500
Insurance: Rs.37500
RTO (Individual): Rs.92100
On Road (Individual): Rs.1043900.

I am wondering why the price is back to normal again. Discount is over I guess.
Edit: The single piece in stock will most likely be a demo piece. Ask them what happened to their demo piece (they will not have more than one, since no one bothers to look at that car.)
