Re: Build your 'Dream Car' with the best of parts

An interesting thread indeed.

Below is my wish list
  • Body size of a Honda Jazz
  • Build quality of German Cars
  • Safety of Volvo
  • Hydraulic Steering from an old Octavia vRS
  • Suspension/ride quality from an all-wheel drive Duster
  • Engine – any day 1.8 TSI (with a stage 3 pete's remap)
  • Handling of a FIAT
  • And last but not the least - Service Network like Maruti and bullet proof Toyota like reliability .
Cheers,
LOTHAR

I don't ask for much.

Just mate the Hyundai verna's diesel powertrain to the ford fiesta's chassis.

Fiesta hatch with some 110 horses? How about a Punto with MultiAir engine pushing out 135~ horses? No need to trouble Santa for that. Start saving, its coming next year.

Re: Build your 'Dream Car' with the best of parts

Me not asking much. Would love to keep my current jelly bean Zen, but would like better brakes and safety kit in place. Rest, it is already a great car!
Just came back from a 850 kms long trip. Last 250-260 kms (approx) were covered in just 3.5 hours! Overall FE was 20 KMPL

Nah! GP won't do. The driving position and the front seats are no match compared to the Fiesta. And I prefer the faster steering of the Ford and it looks better too.

Now to think of it, the 1.6 L EcoBoost will be perfect. Even less trouble for Santa.
