Lol no chance. They will anyway have to sell for less. It's already at 17L ex showroom as I have mentioned. But most of them bought at 16L ex showroom. And only those who are not aware that the new batch is coming, will buy at more price. New batch will be here by March is what I got the news as.

Exactly. Since most of them are sold and only few pieces remaining they are trying to sell at more rate. Would appreciate if you can check and let me know if any available in the same showroom or anywhere in Delhi.

There are 2 gti available in Delhi NCR. One black one red as far as I know. I'd say call up the dealers and arrange a meeting ASAP as people are really buying them fast.
I myself would've bought one but then buying the endeavour wouldn't be possible.

VW had fooled everyone. It was not limited to 99 cars. They had imported close to 300 cars. Yes, they would be getting next batch.

Fresh as in newly coming to India. But all manufactured mostly before June 2017.
No other country they can dump the GTi since facelift has come.

It is not a face-lift. It is the GEN NEW POLO (MK 6) built on the MQB A0 platform

Interesting. Looks like VW got encouraged by the response after the latest price drop to 15.5. I think they shouldn't have priced it greedily in the first place. The more they sell the better it will be - for service and parts availability. I am already searching my head on how to get 215/45R16s at reasonable price. And the battery!

I believe there is very little stock left of the GTI. No stock in Mumbai. Checked today with two dealers and none had stock. As a matter of fact one dealer cheekily told me that all 99 units have been sold.

Hahaha I would really like to believe that its true Naveen, but 2 things were actually happening:

• There was some sort of a team huddle, and it was conincidently happening around my GT!!
• The GTI was there for both Wrap and Sunfilm installation, starting with the latter.

But yes, my GT did get couple of compliments from the 3M staff, which I think is awesome considering the fact that the GTI was on the same floor

Apparently until 31st Dec 2017, VW had offered an additional Rs5 L discount to anyone with a credible connection to motorsports.

Never saw any parked at the MMST track last weekend though!
